Short-term Roadmap
Hi everyone! I hope you’ve been enjoying the game so far, as for me, I really appreciate the influx of suggestions and bug reports. A big part of the reason why I decided to release Memoirs into Early Access is so I can polish the game and add features or quality-of-life improvements based on player feedback.
Memoirs is currently about 40% complete, with 8-10 hours of playtime (not counting free-roam). The goal for the finished game is to reach about 20+ hours. So rest assured, dev is ongoing and new updates will appear towards the end of each month.
Below is a short-term roadmap for what features and content I intend to add over the upcoming months. Some of these updates are very big, so this remains a very tentative schedule, but I’m very excited to put some of these features into the game.
I’m less excited about fixing all the bugs that come with them :P.
April will mostly be spent fixing bugs, and there are a good amount of them. I will also be looking into fixing NPC hitboxes and controller support. I will also be updating parts of the Guild Hall upgrade system to make it more user-friendly, and increase all the rooms to Tier 3. On the cosmetic side, I will be adding new player sprites, and a feature to change the player sprite (including the face plate) in Golgo’s Augmentation Shop, the same place where you can change classes and other settings.
There’s a lot planned to go into this update, so I’ll just leave a list here:
New Traveler’s Mandate location
Some of you have already noticed that unlike the other factions, the Traveler’s Mandate does not have a location on the overworld map, since they are a covert organization. After you complete the first task in their faction quest chain, the Mandate will open up Listening Post A27 to you, and also allow you access to their faction-specific Contracts.
Speaking of which…
Faction-specific contracts
There will be four new contract types introduced in this update specific to a faction, unlike other contracts, these will not rely on a single attribute, and be very difficult for lower-level parties.
Traveler’s Mandate - Anomaly Hunts
Help the Mandate find and capture anomalies that have escaped from the Abyss. Each contract will be for a deadly, single creature with unknown characteristics.
The Old Watch - Vigilante Assassinations
The Watch has called on you to hunt the most depraved criminals in MoonFall, should you be up to the challenge.
Iron Cartel - Gang Heists
The Iron Cartel generally conducts their own heists, but when it’s against MoonFall’s other, minor crime syndicates, they’re open to outside talent.
Stormbreakers Securities - Merc Work
Mercenary work isn’t glamorous, but it pays hard credits. Protect VIPs and secure locations for the Stormbreakers.
New mobs, contracts and random events
A new general contract: Hosting
In this contract, you can host influential VIPs back at your Guild Hall. Maybe even indulge in an orgy or two.
New overhaul to weapons, armor and items
With all that money you’re making, you need something to spend it on. I will be overhauling weapons, armor and items. This means:
Black Market shops
Two new Black Market shops will be opened, one in Cellerdown and one in the Overworld. These shops will sell you increasingly powerful items depending on your Esteem.
Faction Reputation
Be careful of how much reputation you have with each faction - their rivals will notice as well. Having too high of a reputation with one faction will net you a warning from their rivals. Go even beyond that, and their rivals may consider you an enemy.
Faction rivalry:
New, animated lineart sex scenes will be added to the game. I’m planning to include Kore, Kaywin, Thassia, Windress and Isutyr for this update. To clarify, I will not be replacing the pixel-art versions. These new scenes will supplement those and players will be able to choose between the two versions after having sex with that character at least once.
More details will come once we start… banging out a few of these animations.
This update will add a quest each for the Iron Cartel and the Old Watch, and I plan on adding new ways to progress through other quests as well.

July: Story content
This update will add a quest each for the Iron Cartel and the Old Watch, and I plan on adding new ways to progress through other quests as well.
- Iron and Velvet: Iron Gregarion brings you into the fold and invites you to a meeting of Cartel captains. Zafra comes face-to-face with an old nemesis.
- The Bloody Hawk: Shrike sends the Facilitator on an odd errand that may finally unmask the Bloody Hawk, but leaving his grasp is another matter entirely.
