April Update
Hi everyone!
Hopefully you survived April Fools without too much trouble. Work on Memoirs and the endgame is progressing smoothly. I don’t anticipate any issues, but have decided that some features that don’t fit in my original vision for the game (such as the 3d Freemode scenes) will be removed and reintroduced after the launch of the game as free updates.
This is mostly so I don’t spend too much of my dev time, or delay the launch of the game, for bonus features. However, I still anticipate adding them in later on.
In other news, some of you may know that TORii has been working on her own project, previously titled Heresy Simulator, since 2020. It is actually from that game that a lot of mechanics for Memoirs’ overworld mode was borrowed. As she is waiting for development on Memoirs’ sequel to start, she has decided to continue work on her game, now re-titled That Which Rises.
