Finished game slated for late September
Hi everyone!
Some good news. Enough progress has been made that I can say (with some degree of confidence) that the game will be finished sometime next month. However, since I don't like to jinx myself too much, I'll simply say that this just the plan, and not that it's an absolute certainty.
Also, I am uncertain right now whether I will release the update and keep the game in Early Access (even though it'll be finished) in order to spend more time to fix bugs, or launch into 1.0 right away. Either way, the base game will be complete.
Backer-generated content from Patreon and Kickstarter will be the first content update after launch, and I expect to work with everyone involved to get their stuff into the game. Many of you still haven't sent in your ideas, so please do! Right now I'm not setting a hard time limit on it, yet.
I'm super excited to bring this story to a close (at least, for now), but I also have to admit that I'm a little worried it might not live up to expectations. In some ways, I feel like I haven't spent enough time on the narrative of the game, as it is much bigger and sandboxy than my previous projects.
It's been a lot of work, and as always, a huge learning experience.
