It's been a pretty crazy year of ups and downs and then more downs, but we're still here and still grinding, and we'd like to thank everyone for still riding with us and supporting the game ːws_peaceː
For this special time of the year, we've cooked up our biggest seasonal event so far, and somehow even managed to get all the bugs worked out by now. Must be a Kushmas miracle ːws_damanː
[h2]The Kushmas Event[/h2]
Canna Claus has come to town and needs your help saving Kushmas, but this time it's up to you:
Help Canna and get on the nice list or steal his s**t and make bank as the Grinch would, the choice is yours!
ːws_chaliceːFor the event to activate make sure you're at least at level 5, and NOT running the game in "Barebones" or "Chill Mode" ːws_chaliceː
[h2]Into 2022[/h2]
This is gonna be our last seasonal event for a while as we'll be focusing 100% of our dev time on getting the [Hybrid + Concentrate] expansion ready. This is a major content update with some new gameplay mechanics that require us to refactor some of the old logic, so we won't be releasing any incremental updates until everything is ready.
And it's gonna be ready in... a month or two.... three tops... you know how it always goes ːws_damanː

This is gonna be our last seasonal event for a while as we'll be focusing 100% of our dev time on getting the [Hybrid + Concentrate] expansion ready. Just kidding! However, it'd be really cool if you could tick that SIT BACK AND RELAX AWARD check box. We realize that this also sounds like a joke after the "chickens" shot your shops up for Danksgiving but we truly believe that playing Weed Shop 3 in "Chill" mode is just as relaxing as Stardew Valley...
And if it isn't then at least you get to sit back just as much ːws_peaceː

Everyone who celebrates Danksgiving that is... Coz apparently a lot of people don't. If you're one of them, then we only got two words for you - "CHILL MODE" ːws_damanː
[h2]THE DANKSGIVING x DANK FRIDAY EVENT[/h2]
Since the Hell'o'Weed event was such an overwhelming success [insert your favorite sarcastic emoji here], we decided to step it up a notch for Danksgiving and introduce not 3 but 4 new seasonal missions & rewards ːws_damanː
[h2]WHAT, WHEN, AND WHERE?[/h2]
You'll earn twice the XP and a whole lot of cash for selling seasonal strains and merch, as well as receive one-off rewards for completing the missions. The event is live right now and will be active till the end of the week. Visit your Mission Control app for further instructions and READ THEM.
[h2]BUT I GOT NO INSTRUCTIONS![/h2]
For the event to activate make sure you're at least level 5 and AREN'T playing the game in "BAREBONES" quality or "CHILL MODE" difficulty setting. If you are, change the settings in the options menu and reload your current game progress.

We did it for SadBoi... but to disable all those chickens, do the opposite of the step above ːws_damanː
