The Weekend Update #2

TODAY'S UPDATE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING IMPROVEMENTS AND BUGFIXES:

  • The shop downgrade bug fix
  • Physics engine optimizations
  • Updated B-roller & F-packer values
  • Improved object placement mechanics
  • Better layout on the level 2 rolling table
  • Faster package folding on the level 2 packing table
  • Some HUD inventory fixes

Balancing Update, Day 1

TODAY'S UPDATE INCLUDES:

  • Brand new balanced-out strain values!
  • The sliding weed storage jar fix
  • The metal rolling table fix
  • Auto-roller progress display fix
  • Synced up production times between B-Roller & F-Packer
  • Busted pot crash-inducing bug fix


Once again, we'd like to thank our Discord community for reporting and helping us fix a whole new batch of bugs.

And the main shoutout of the day goes out to @StoneyGamerXX (Mike) who managed to do the impossible and balanced out the weed values for a more natural game progression!


Makin' It Work

Since pretty much all of the new Workstation/Production items from yesterday's update had issues with them, we've spent today making them fully functional:

  • Fixed the B-roller weed inventory bug
  • Fixed the infinite joint pack bug caused by the F-packer
  • Added the missing colliders to the packing/rolling tables
  • Fixed the trashcan in the Weed Merge Inc app


Next, we'll be focusing on balancing out values and adding new community-powered missions. So, if you haven't done so yet, head over to our Discord server and share your feedback and suggestions.

Post-420 Update

Hey guys, hope everyone had a lit 4.20!

Our 4.20 was a little less lit and we totally dropped the ball with the second update...
Basically, short story even shorter, by implementing a special 420 task we ended up breaking the game's tutorial and ended up having to revert to a 4.19 backup...

In other words, the 4.20 quest is gone as if it never existed, and we learned a valuable lesson to stop winging it and stick to the roadmap.

TODAY'S UPDATE INCLUDES:
  • Improved performance when using the in-game PC or the main menu
  • New rolling/packaging tables
  • Auto-Rolling/Packaging equipment (still a WIP, since the Joint roller has a significant hit on the performance, but we're hoping to have it worked out by tomorrow)

The 420 Challenge!

Happy 420 Everyone!

What a crazy ride 2020/21 has been so far, but Weed Shop 3 is finally out in Early Access, and thanks to all of your support and contributions, it's been getting better with each day!

We're really blown away by how much our Discord community believes in a game which TBH on day 1 was pretty unplayable ;) But now that those days are behind us, let's talk about what's ahead for Weed Shop 3.

Besides the daily tweaks and bug fixes, we're currently working on some auto-rolling/packing equipment, a feature to manage in-shop prices, a day & night cycle which has an effect on gameplay, and NPC staff to run your shop for you.

As for today, we've already dropped a mini update that gives you double the XP when doing tasks stoned, reduced level 1 upgrade prices, and added a few more wallpaper options. If things go according to plan, we'll be dropping a second 420 content update a little later in the day.
