Further Information on the Drift Drag Change

Hey Racers, 

We would like to provide a more detailed explanation regarding ‘Improvements have been made to locations where drifting can drag’, that has been applied through the August 9 (PT) patch. 

After Karts could be upgraded up to Heroic through the Season 3 update, it came to our attention that drifts would drag even more than before as the overall speed increased. 

Since dragging makes it harder to use basic drifts, we have made adjustments to improve this by making drifts end a little bit earlier than before.  

As such, dragging has been improved in that normal drifts can be cut off earlier than before, but the performance and experience of some advanced drift techniques may feel different. 

We are currently reviewing driving data after the August 9 (PT) update, and we will notify you if there are any additional changes or improvements that will be made. 

In the future, we will provide a more detailed explanation in advance through the Patch Notes when there are updates that can create changes in your driving experience.
