We hope you are enjoying the Worms Rumble beta so far – keep those feedback threads and bug reports coming!
We’ve just released a patch to address the following issues:
- Fixed Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Portuguese-Brazilian always showing in English.
- Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Korean will now display the correct fonts.
- Bazooka rockets should now always shoot at the correct speed.
- Reflected projectiles from the Baseball bat should now visibly change direction.
- Fixed an issue with duplicate projectiles being spawned.
- Fixed an issue where the weapon state would desync with the server and you are left unable to reload/shoot your weapon.
- When a player disconnects during loading, the game should now always proceed into game.
- Fixed a rare server crash.
- XP and Currency should no longer be awarded from self-kills.
- Fixed an discrepancy in damage numbers across multiple UI screens.
- Various customisation items have had their names fixed to reflect the material applied.
- Fixed an issue where repeated audio can be heard when levelling up from rank 9 to 10.
- Fixed an issue when re-rolling your daily challenge would show incorrect progress.
We are looking to address the below remaining known issues during the beta too:
- Post-game flow doesn’t progress automatically on the player XP breakdown if player rank is maxed out. ‘Advance’ button needs to be pressed by the player. This will only happen when the player ranks up from lvl 9 – 10. A fix will be out before players reach this
- Desync might be seen while attempting to perform multiple consecutive wall jumps
- Flickering effect is present across background textures. This isn’t occurring for all players, and only seems to be happening on medium quality settings
- The top player listed on the player list appears twice during the pre-game flow. We’ve noticed other duplications of players on the list at times also
- Player's camera perspective sometimes changes immediately after dying. This only happens the first time the player dies
- Re-rolled daily challenges show existing progress, suggesting that progress is added whilst they're inactive
- The worm can occasionally disappear from the Worm tab preview
- The levelling up sound effect on the post-game flow continues to play on an account that has reached level 10
