Chrono Ark Story: Fate
Hello, fellow Arkers!
We have made a lot of progress on the storyline.

The storyline of Chrono Ark Story: Fate is carried out in a way that two of the main characters ‘Lucy’ and ‘Azar’ develop their own stories.
The Chrono Ark Story: Fate update will feature ‘Azar’’s story.


We’ve been brainstorming many ideas regarding the storyline since the early development of Chrono Ark, which has consisted of many sleepless nights spent planning how each character would play out in accordance with the main storyline.
We drew inspiration from 'Danganronpa' and have learned a lot from its unique story-oriented gameplay.
You may find some resemblances to it along your Chrono Ark journey.
However, we focused on developing our own vibe into the game since Chrono Ark has more dynamic features.






There will be around 10 episodes including the Prologue in Chrono Ark Story: Fate. This update will only include the Prologue.
We also have polished the previous storyline to make it more interesting.
Due to this decision, all storyline progress will be reset.



The Meaning Behind Chrono Ark’s Story
We are aiming to develop Chrono Ark as a game worth purchasing for its storyline.
Many of the added features, including Hope Mode, were intended to lower any difficulties so that players could instead focus on the storyline.
Don’t worry, the storyline will not interfere with the immersiveness of Chrono Ark’s roguelike features.
We still deeply believe that Chrono Ark is a roguelike video game.



About Roguelike
There will be new playable characters, addition and improvement of building type objects, new stages, and challenges once the storyline is added to the game.
This update has been delayed due to creating a completely new system for Chrono Ark Story: Fate, as well as new illustrations of many characters.
Now that the foundation is complete to some extent, we are expecting to work more efficiently regarding following updates.

Improvements

• Sir Dorchi's critical rate, evasion rate, and attack power have been reduced.
  
• Increased the drop rate of Sword of the Forest.
  
• We have reduced the CPU share by optimizing the field and battle.

Chrono Ark EA Patch 1.56 has arrived!

Update Log
Sir Dorchi’s final quest has been added.
A new Investigation Team NPC has been added to the Ark.
Line of Rerin, a researcher in front of the research lab, has been changed.
New Relic: Spiny Puffer has been added.
The Training Ground has been added to the Ark. Nothing else has been added other than talking with other Investigation Team members, but we are planning to allow you to practice your character’s mechanics.

- Azar: Hollowed Sword has been changed to Illusion Sword. Description for Ascending Slice and Thirst has been improved.
- Charon: Description for Dark Barrier has been improved.
- Helia: Black Sun has been changed to Dark Sun.
- Huzz: Description for Give and Take has been improved.
- Narhan: Description for Trauma has been improved.
- Selena: Description for Flame Eruption has been improved.
