Chrono Ark EA Patch 1.56 has arrived!

Update Log
Sir Dorchi’s final quest has been added.
A new Investigation Team NPC has been added to the Ark.
Line of Rerin, a researcher in front of the research lab, has been changed.
New Relic: Spiny Puffer has been added.
The Training Ground has been added to the Ark. Nothing else has been added other than talking with other Investigation Team members, but we are planning to allow you to practice your character’s mechanics.


Localization
- Azar: Hollowed Sword has been changed to Illusion Sword. Description for Ascending Slice and Thirst has been improved.
- Charon: Description for Dark Barrier has been improved.
- Helia: Black Sun has been changed to Dark Sun.
- Huzz: Description for Give and Take has been improved.
- Narhan: Description for Trauma has been improved.
- Selena: Description for Flame Eruption has been improved.
- Description for the Keyword ‘Tracking’ has been improved.

Improvements & Newly Added

• ‘Curse of Sun, Moon, and Stars’ has been added. This item is unlocked once you clear the Curse Challenge of Sun, Moon, and Stars.
  
• The unlock condition of Helia & Selena has changed. You can unlock them when you clear the Curse Challenge of Sun, Moon, and Stars.
  
• Sir Dorchi now requires less for his third quest.

Bomb Clown


[h3]New mode 'Hope mode'[/h3]

Casual difficulty has been removed and Hope mode has been added.

'Hope Mode' is a new mode that allows you to enjoy the Chrono Ark less stressful.
To put it simply, even if the party is completely destroyed, your progress will not be lost.
In the hope mode, after your party is wiped out, the 'hope level' increases and your party member's stat increases significantly depending on the character level.
Annihilation makes your party stronger, and it makes much easier to clear game.

Changes from the Beta

• Selena, Helia, Johan, and Bomb Clown must be unlocked in game to encounter.
  
  Quest NPC 'Sir Dorchi' was added.
  
• Skill Illustrations, Effects, and Achievements of the new Investigation Team Members have been added.
  
• Unlockable items for the new Investigation Team Members, Alice’s Gift, Sun Shard, and Moon Shard have been added.
  
• All character lines have been translated.
  
• Some UI improvements have been made.
  

Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug where a save file disappears after the Quicksave with Selena and Helia.
Helia: Bugs for 'Black sun' have been fixed
Other minor bugs fixed

Improvements
Added the backup feature for the save files.
Now Chrono Ark’s save data will be saved by the hourly time frame!
There is a bug where some save data is removed due to an unidentified reason.
The bug happens extremely rarely, and we couldn’t fix it yet since we had a hard time collecting detailed enough feedback about how this bug exactly takes place.
We decided to make the game save the user data temporarily until we fix this bug completely.

Improving
-Selena & Helia's illustrations completed
-Completed some of Helia's Skill effects.
-Selena & Helia's lines added (Korean priority applied.)

Bug fixes
-Fixed a bug where the Bomb Clown added too many time bombs under certain conditions.

We’re here to announce that Chrono Ark EA v1.55 Beta has finally arrived!



Johan
Johan utilizes his fixed ability to constantly deal damage to enemies. Johan is an attack-oriented Investigation Team member who becomes stronger with more skills in hand.

Selena & Helia
Selena and Helia are twins who each use the magic of Moon and Sun.
They cannot be recruited alone, but only recruited at the start of the game when you select your first Investigation Team party.
Since they are characters who are always together, most of their skills include chain effects that are linked with each other.

New Boss, ‘Bomb Clown’ has been added.

Bomb Clown is a new boss of Stage 2. Bomb Clown will always appear at Stage 2-2 during Beta.



New Boss BGM for the Witch from Stage 1-2 has been added.
Background image of the main menu has slightly changed.
User interface for conversation and equipment acquisition has changed.
Equipment: Demon Hunter - its effect has been reworked.

Narhan
Trojan Horse: Base damage increased.
Trauma: Effect has been improved.
The Mentalist: Barrier now lasts for 2 turns.

Silverstein
Passive: Now has increased additional attack damage but no longer activates his passive as a fixed ability.
Enhanced Mark: Cost reduced from 1 to 0 and its effect has changed.
Blind Fire: Cost has reduced from 2 to 1.
Overcharged Shot: Base damage increased from 100% to 110%.

Trisha
Backstab: Damage amount and critical strike chance increased.
Illusion Strike: Damage amount increased from 100% to 110%.
Blink Stab: Damage amount decreased from 40% to 35%.
Shadow Slash: Accuracy increased by 5%.
Shadow Dance: 'Shadow Illusion' no longer disappears when Trisha casts Shadow Dance while she has the buff.

Azar
Hollowed Flash: Base damage amount increased.

Ironheart
Frontline Cover: Now creates a party barrier equal to half of maximum health.
Shield Charge: Base damage amount increased.

Sizz
Passive: Eve’s damage has increased from 45% to 50%.
Patch Up: Base healing amount increased.
Incise: Damage amount increased from 88% to 100%.

Huzz
Base Attack has been increased slightly.
Punish: Base damage increased.
Give and Take: The condition to trigger the additional effect is now easier to meet.
This Might Sting!: Damage to ally has been reduced by half.

Lian
Base Attack has been reduced slightly.
Preparation: No longer remains throughout stages.


Storyline Progress
We are continuing to add the last touches to the story.
We thought solely working on the story might delay keeping the game up to date, so we decided to add new content to the game first.
We now have 17 playable Investigation Team members up from 14!
