Announcement for Matchmaking Changes on Jan. 27

Greetings Soldiers,

We have made the decision to disable duos and squads for an undefined period.

We notice that many players are disappointed with this decision and are aware that this impacts a lot of you who in these past few months have been playing the game as duos or squads. We wholeheartedly apologize for the short notice of these important changes. Many teammates and groups had to separate due to this sudden change and it was not well thought out on our end.

With the SUPER PEOPLE revival system, we were noticing that a lot of the fights and revives were happening outside the play zone and this effect amplified as many players ended up falling behind and a big number of deaths were occurring in the ice storms, outside of the play zones.

We also felt that many players were suffering from a lack of materials between the same group due to collection paths and suggestions being identical in many cases—we had hoped to reduce this collision by lowering the team size.

Despite our intentions to better the game, we made the mistake of lacking communication with our soldiers who have been planning games with friends and other partners. We apologize and hope that you will try the trio mode to help us gather valuable data that will aid the improvement of SUPER PEOPLE.
We will be keeping a close eye on your feedback on the server to see how it affects the overall gameplay. Again, in the end, it is your active in-game activity that directs and fosters our game in a healthier and more constructive direction based on internal data. This includes, but is not limited to, broader options of queues or matchmaking.

We are staying committed to making Super People the best it can be for all of you Super Soldiers.

Thank you for your understanding, and a sincere thank you for playing.
