Global CBT Coming to a Close

Greetings Soldiers.

The Global CBT will come to a close on 14:00 KST, Feb. 28.

It’s been a long, long run.

We had received much more attention and love than anticipated during our extended three-month period for our CBT. Racking up to 4 million consecutive downloads, we want to thank our soldiers all around the globe for making this happen.

The journey wasn’t all sunshine and roses though. There were some bumps here and there along the way and the road was never a smooth one.

Despite all this, we haven’t come up here empty-handed. Based on our internal data and player feedback we’ve collected the following data/statistics to guide us on our future game development and operations.

1. Class/ Weapon Balance
2. Skill Based Match Making
3. Server Stability (Game Crashes, Lag)
4. Game Optimization
5. Multi-Lingual In-Game Text
6. Illegal Third-Party Programs
7. Bugs/Glitches
8. AI/Bots for Newer Players
9. FPP Mode
10. Squad Balance

We personally had our ups and downs too.

While we were able to greatly improve Server Stability through consecutive patches, our response to Illegal Third-Party programs was slightly lacking to provide a completely fair and clean gaming environment. HWID and cellphone number bans were effective to some point but were not complete deterrents for players who decided to cheat.

However, interactive players were a great asset when providing detailed reports on illegal third-party program users. We promise that this valuable data will be evaluated thoroughly and become the backbone of our anti-cheat system.

In the future, we will take action on illegal third-party program providers and users to foster a better gaming environment. A better anti-cheat program is in the pipework as well.

In the end, one thing that remains clear is that we are devoted to providing the best gaming experience possible to our soldiers. This is no easy task, and we can tell you we feel the weight of responsibility on our shoulders. But we will progress forward and thank all soldiers for enjoying and playing the game.

We’ll be seeing you real soon.
