This update is the 4th House Flipper 2 major content update, and it is the first step on our recently released House Flipper 2 Roadmap - Part 2, and you should definitely check it out because there's so much more to come! Let's get to all the news, because we've got plenty of that for you today!

• Get ready to explore Old Pinnacove, a brand-new region with a fresh downtown vibe!
  
• Dive into a new job in the new region, where you'll help Simon, an allergy sufferer, with his apartment makeover.
  
• Check out a charming new apartment in the heart of a historic tenement building.
  
• 150 new items! (Hold onto your toolboxes! Details below).
  
• 13 new images for Custom Pictures.
  
• Get an SMS from your client after finishing a job. Because who doesn't love a good debrief?
  
• Enjoy the new visual and sound effects when bags bounce off the invisible boundary wall. It's like magic but with bags!
  
• Now you can tweak Chromatic Aberration in the settings.
  
• Introducing the "Unstuck" button in the pause menu (under escape). Perfect for those moments when you find yourself wedged between items or walls.
  
• Say hello to a new company for items, FixeD! Looks familiar?

  - 20 doors of different widths. Open up to new possibilities!
  - 6 new towels. Drying off has never been this stylish!
  - Store rack shelf and commercial fridge for your budding business empire.
  - Classic instruments to bring out your inner musician.
  - A new bedroom set for Valenti (Windsor), featuring a secret door. Shh, don't tell anyone!

• Curtains can now be stretched downwards.
  
• Open and close curtains with just a press of a button!
  
• Feel free to place items on the gazebo and scaffolding.
  
• Buying multiple lights? They keep their settings now.
  
• Copy surface styles on architectural elements, just like you copy wall styles.
  
• A friendly reminder before deleting old progress when starting a new game.
  
• Jobs in the archive now have a "continue" button, so you can pick up right where you left off.
  
• Refrigerators, microwaves, and ovens now come with internal lighting.
  
• Larger items now require a longer click to sell. No more accidental sales!
  
• Store categories are now sorted with intention, not semi-alphabetically.

• Fixed the text input in the store search field, especially improving functionality in certain modes or on specific devices.
  
• The ceiling fan in Jonesboro has been corrected to be properly resizable.

This update is the first step on our recently released House Flipper 2 Roadmap Part 2!

That's when you'll be able to read through all the new additions, download it for free, and delve into the summer vibes even more! To celebrate it, we'll also be starting another exciting Community Contest as well as hosting a dev livestream, but more about that later.

So you may have noticed that our previous roadmap (which you can look at here!) expired along with the end of last month!

That means that for the recent couple of weeks, we have been planning things out and gathering all the needed information to create the Official House Flipper 2 Roadmap - Part 2!

This new roadmap is actually an HF2-only roadmap - we decided that there's going to be a separate one for House Flipper 1, which still gets new updates and even has a new DLC on the way!


But getting back to the new HF2 roadmap, here it is:



Instead of months, we decided to group all the incoming content into quarters, and as you can see, quite a few things are currently in the making! We still have a couple of aces up our sleeves to reveal this year (oh yes we know you love pools! 🌊)

Let us know if you have any questions about the future of House Flipper 2, and of course, check out our HF2 Ideas & Feedback board on Canny.io where you can propose and vote on any features you'd like to see in the game.
Once again, keep in mind that this is just a House Flipper 2 roadmap, as House Flipper 1 is going to get its own in the near future.

[h3]🌋 The "Floor is Lava" Community Contest was an amazing experience![/h3]

Even though we know that the theme was very specific and not exactly for every House Flipper builder out there, we had lots of fun with experiencing your creativity and going through all the different Lava tracks!

[h3]✨ New update brings a brand new contest - The Fairytale Contest![/h3]

The Fairytale Update is here, and the currently ongoing contest (until the end of June) strictly relates to the new theme! This time we also made sure to avoid any restrictive rules!

Just stay within the theme and simply... "Build a house straight out of a fairy tale!" 🧚

[h3]🩵 The rules are simpler than ever![/h3]

1. Create a new property in the House Flipper 2 Sandbox Mode.
2. Build a house fitting the theme of the contest - "A house straight out of a fairy tale!"
3. Upload the finished property to the Mod.io website with at least 3 screenshots best showcasing the project, as well as check the “Fairytale Contest” tag in the upload process.
4. Make sure to submit your entry by June 30, 2024, 23:59, Polish time (CEST)!

We will be rating the entries by their visuals and intriguing build ideas. Show us how creative the army of Flippers is when it comes to using the Sandbox Mode!
