The Weekly Roundup 16/9/25 - Shady Lewd Kart DLC Roadmap!!!

[p]This week I wanted to talk to you all about the DLC roadmap of Shady Lewd Kart. This is a pretty loaded topic as I hate games that will run DLC to the point its worth more than the game. [/p][p][/p][p]I think the idea of DLC is to give the game some extra eyes while also some delayed content after the 1.0 release while also funding content within the games production.[/p][p]But dont worry we wont do what Dead or Alive 5 did and have over $1000 of DLC.[/p][p][/p][p] So first up lets talk about what has already been released from our list. Originally we only planned for one being Wild Woody.[/p][p][/p][p]Pyramid Tits was a result of the original roster. Back in the day of making Shady Lewd Kart our game wasnt meant to be the 'smash' of kart racers.[/p][p]In the original design doc we had only planned for a few racers. This was originally drawn in 2018. How time flies when we pitched the game to the team![/p][p]Then when we started making the games early builds we grew to a roster that went from a simple game of parody characters to guest characters. A lot of devs grabbed onto the idea so it took form that guests would drive the game forward. Pyramid Tits was meant to be the original base idea of many girls that were to be parodies of sexy or retro games.[/p][p]Bringing her back was more of a love letter for you guys who stuck around this long. I wanted to bring back lost media to the game that was cast aside back in 2019. If we are going out with a bang I want you want it to be a celebration of our lewd kart racer.[/p][p] So DLC 3 brings a character that is original that will be parodying games like Pyramid. I feel this one will be a funny blast once its revealed.[/p][p]Then during the holidays we hope to push a Seasonal Cup funded by myself. Each year we have added a new christmas or halloween based track and since then we now have a full cup. I figure we might as well make it a fully functional cup so you can play through the cup. Lets hope we can hit that mark.[/p][p]During the new year we will be finishing the Thigh High Cup. As we have a bunch of spare tracks such as Detours Car Park and Marble Maid earlier the year before we hit the goal to finish it as a funded date with Detour. Its going to be cute. You will be able to date your traffic wife at long last in her own fully voiced story![/p][p] In terms of what is after we want to go out with a bang so the last two are free. One of them will really be more of a joke being April Fools. Something that was tinkering around my head for a while. Seems stupid on paper but this day as a release would be perfect.

The DLC Voice Pack is something that was cut content. We had planned that the commentator could be swapped out. The voices for the most part were worked on for two packs. But our goal with it is to at least release one of them fully completed as sort of another gift to you the players.

Next week we would love to give you an update on the future of remaining content. Such as the cups that were not funded. A chance for one more round of funding!!!
