Game Update v.1.0.4 – Events & Fixes Update



Hello everyone!

We’re back with another update that brings new features, improvements, and bug fixes:
  • Event Editor Additions: Two new bonuses have been added — changing a country’s political institute and transferring provinces. A new requirement has also been introduced — ownership of specific provinces, which can now be selected directly on the map.
  • Click Detection Fix: Fixed an issue where clicks on buildings, the infrastructure button, or other interface elements either didn’t register or only worked after multiple attempts.
  • Building Upgrade Fix: Resolved a bug where buildings could not be upgraded if all slots were already occupied.
  • Demo Label: The demo version now displays a “Demo” label at the top of the screen.
  • Steam Nickname Sync: On the first launch from Steam, your Steam nickname will now automatically be set for multiplayer (this can still be changed in the Join menu).
  • Join Menu UI Update: Improved the nickname input field in the Join menu to make it clearer where to enter your name.
  • Encirclement Fix: Fixed an issue where environments were not working correctly.
  • Building Menu Clarity: Resource-building descriptions are now clearer, and the selected building in the list is highlighted with a matching outline. On the map, hovering over your country’s buildings now displays their names.
  • WWI Scenario Update: The World War I scenario on the standard Europe map has been updated — existing events have been fixed and new uprisings have been added.

Game Update v.1.0.3 – Interface Improvements & More!



Hello everyone!

We’re excited to share a new update that brings several improvements to the game’s interface and overall experience:

Lens Menu Revamp: The lens menu now features compact icons in the bottom row instead of large text buttons, making it easier to use.



Building Menu Clarity: The number of available slots is now displayed more clearly. Defense lines are shown in a separate list and their descriptions now state that they don’t take up building slots.



Resource Unlocks: Fewer resources are available at the start of the game, helping to declutter the interface and allowing new resource-related elements to unlock gradually.

Top Menu Tooltips: Tooltips now appear not only when hovering over icons, but also when hovering over text in the top menu.

Slider Improvements: Sliders now respond to clicks on both the handle and the slider bar itself for smoother interaction.



New Secret Promo Codes: Active Discord users, YouTubers, and community friends can now receive new secret promo codes for signatures!

Bug Fixes: Fixed an issue where the minus sign was missing in some text elements, resolved lens bugs in the scenario editor, and addressed various other errors.

[h3]Interface Improvements
[/h3]

The top bar (income, science, prestige, resources) has been redesigned to take up less space. Resources are now displayed in the same row, without a dropdown menu.

[h3]Army Movement & Pathfinding
[/h3]

Army movement is now more intuitive! The path is dynamically built and shown on the map, not only when holding the right mouse button, but also when hovering after selecting "Move" in the control menu.



If you can’t cross a river or sea due to a missing port, an icon and explanation will appear in the province, letting you know why the path is unavailable. This info also appears if your route is longer than expected because you need to go around—so you’ll know where building a port would speed things up.

[h3]Map & Territory Visualization

Country borders are now thicker, making it easier to see where your territory ends.
In lens view mode, your territory is visually distinct from others, so you can quickly tell if those oil deposits are yours or not.



[h3]Country Locator
[/h3]

Clicking your country’s flag or name now highlights your nation’s location on the map and zooms the camera in. Perfect for quickly finding your country—no geography degree required!
