To celebrate our anniversary we started yesterday with an 80% off discount.

We just added a new branch called 'console-version' that features the... console version of the game!

Yes, the console version is a distinct version but we decided to include it here mostly because of the better gamepad support, but lacking some of the features of the steam version.

Just a disclaimer if you plan to play it:
- Better gamepad support
- Runs better on older or slower hardware
- Save games and progression is different from the main game, you won't lose your previous saves if you go back to the 'regular' version.
- Does not have Steam achievements (we might fix this later)
- No 'Warpopedia'
- Does not have the new ship from the latest update
- Some minor differences in balance/difficulty

To play this version:
Right click the game in the library > Properties > Betas > Beta Participation (drop down) > select 'console-version'

Also, people recently asked for more translation options.
We did have some old incomplete translations to Portuguese, Russian and other languages that never were officially released.
The plan is to fully translate them and make it available in the coming months.

Hello!

We just added a new ship with this surprise update!

The Arcane ship makes more use of the boost mechanic to unleash a powerful black hole onto your foes.



The ship is also unlocked by default so you can try it whenever you want.

Some other things regarding this update and future updates:

• This update will only be available on PC and arrive later on consoles.
  
• Full gamepad support and other improvements will arrive in a future update, since we will bring the console gamepad support to the PC.
  
• There are no more planned updates after these ones
  
• But we might just keep adding new stuff just because...

In this patch I bring back the simplified Chinese translation option and fixed some previous issues.

Hi!
Since last week several players had soft locks or crashes after the first boss fight or other parts.

This temporary rollback will fix these issues.

But the latest 'simplified chinese' translation option will only be available in the test branch.

The translation for simplified chinese is now available!

Let us know if you find any issues or missing stuff in the translations.
