[p]The revision of Patch #13 is 890625[/p][p][/p][p]Hey Flameborn![/p][p]Hopefully our very last patch for update 7 so we can carry on the work started for Update 8! This patch includes lots of small fixes, and notably, a fix for some DLSS settings turning your game world black for players using newer NVidia drivers, and a fix for NPCs deciding to nap on the ground when they have assigned beds.[/p][p]

  • [p]The recipe for the Ultimate Health Potion + now produces the correct tier of health potion.[/p]
  • [p]The spell Shroud Meteor now correctly targets enemies again. Now, the thing that will explode will actually be the enemy you’re aiming at, instead of that poor, innocent bush that got caught in the crossfire.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue with the skill Necromancer, which caused kills by other players and even traps to also spawn the Skull Companions.[/p]
  • [p]Reworked the fire and ice bolt spells so that they hit targets reliably now.[/p]
  • [p]Enemies can now block player attacks again.[/p]
  • [p]The projectiles of Depthdwellers now have a short glow to signal the parry opportunity.[/p]
  • [p]The connection to the skill Swift Blades in the skill tree is now correct again.[/p]
  • [p]Removed a patch of invisible deadly Shroud at the location of a Shroud root in the kindlewastes. Just when you thought you were safe…[/p]
  • [p]Fixed water misbehaving below specific stone bridges.[/p]
  • [p]Improved the pathfinding of enemies and animals. This improvement should especially help when keeping several animals in a small space in which they previously bumped into each other too much. [/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue with survivors that caused them to sleep on the ground even though free beds are available. It was causing them a lot of back problems.[/p]
  • [p]Cats and dogs now choose more frequently to do activities other than sitting down. We were a little bit worried about them. [/p]
  • [p]Fixed a rarely occurring issue that could lead enemies to stop moving during a lengthy play session.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed several enemies with the wrong level in specific points of interest.[/p]
  • [p]Unearthed an enemy camp of the Vukah in the Blackmire region that was swallowed by terrain unintentionally. Too scary to even think about…[/p]
  • [p]Added a respawn point to the Elixir Well at the Gold Rock Saddle area.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the water depth in a lake in the Revelwoods region near the Blue Goblet tavern.[/p]
  • [p]Reduced the likelihood for fish to swim onto land while roaming. We believe in Darwin’s theory of evolution, we just don’t have the time for it to play out in the game.[/p]
  • [p]Fish now use the correct animation when stranded on land. Floppy floppy.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue that caused enemies to not play their defeated animation correctly when underwater. Wet dead things will now properly die.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed pathfinding issues for animals when encountering thin fences in particular.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue with the max plant growth slider in the watering can widget. Previously, the first change was not correctly applied.[/p]
  • [p]Hazelnut bush seedlings no longer grant 3 seedlings as loot when picked up. [/p]

The popup allows switching on a special tracing mode for GPU crashes, which will help developers gather more useful information about the crash should it recur. Please note: Enabling tracing mode is optional and will only be activated for one session if the GPU crash doesn’t happen again.[/p]

As it approaches its second early access anniversary, Enshrouded gets a 1.0 release window for later this year


More and more as time goes on I feel that if I blink a whole two years will pass, and suddenly a game like Enshrouded, which is coming up to its second early access anniversary, will be gearing up for its proper 1.0 launch. While an exact date for the survival game's full release hasn't been locked in just yet, a new Road to Release video was shared by developer Keen Games detailing what you can expect leading up to said launch.

Enshrouded is two years old!
[p]How time flies. Where were you two years ago? I can tell you us at Keen were very, very nervous, about to push the "Release" button, hoping for the best. And then a torrent of players poured in, and the rest is gaming history.[/p][p][/p][p]To celebrate, we are introducing some new Twitch Drops (check out the news tomorrow morning!), which those of you who prefer will be able to find in-game (speak with the huntress!). All of this stuff available tomorrow afternoon, after Patch 13 releases. We think you'll love the set! We've tried many different things when it comes to vanity outfits and we hope you enjoy the variety.[/p][p][/p]

[p]To us, this is an astonishing number. This is almost the entire population of the greater Frankfurt metropolitan area, where Keen Games is from. Each and every single one of you has contributed to making Enshrouded a success, and we know players love big numbers, so we thought we'd celebrate our big number with more big numbers. Road to Release
[p]Enshrouded is releasing this Autumn. Fall. We'd love to give you an exact date, but considering the last time we did that, we had to postpone things, we don't want to ask you to mark the date and then turn around in a few months and go "actually..." There's loads of things we want to get done until then, so allow us to paint a picture with a picture:[/p][p][/p][p]If you'd like commentary from our Creative Director Antony rather than a paraphrase here, we'd suggest you open the video we linked above in a new tab, and listen to him while you peruse this image! [/p][p][/p][p]The short of it is: it is very important for us to stick the landing with 1.0, and everything we'll be doing until Release will be to that end.
