Added a couple more fixes and fixed a fix where we over-fixed the issue!


Changelog


  • Fixed the overgrowth tool that broke with hotfix #21. Update 5 brought too much debris, Hotfix 21 removed the debris but took the overgrowth with it… this time we should have the overgrowth without the debris!
  • Fixed the issue where baby Dune Armadillos turned into regular untamed wildlife when growing up. They now grow up into domesticated animals as intended.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when unlocking achievements.

We fixed a bunch of issues that appeared with Update 5. We will keep working on issues reported to our support team or in-game, so if you encounter an issue, please keep the reports coming!

  • Fixed several crashes in the latest version reported by players.
  • Fixed an issue that caused enemies to just give up and stop moving in long play sessions. Hang in there, little Scavenger, it’ll be alright.
  • Fixed that villagers could get unassigned from their beds when quitting and restarting the game.
  • Fixed an issue that could lead to the Summoning Sceptre being unusable after setting a custom keybind.
  • Reverted the changes to Shroud areas in Springlands near Fenrig’s Farm. Sorry about the encroaching fog, it is now contained again.
  • Reverted updated visuals for Revelwood trees. The new visuals increased the size of the trees which interfered with player bases. Trees shouldn’t be growing in the middle of winter.
  • Reverted a change that caused debris particles to be displayed on certain building blocks. It wasn’t poor player base maintenance on your part!
  • Fixed visual glitches with VFX on AMD graphics cards.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the setting switch from proximity voice chat to global voice chat on dedicated servers.
  • Updated the readme file for dedicated server configuration.
  • Fixed an issue preventing the default server_enshrouded.json from being created when the file didn’t previously exist, when starting a dedicated server.

New Enshrouded Twitch Drops

Greetings, Flameborn!

Starting today, at 4pm CET, Twitch drops are coming back to Enshrouded!
Fast-track your way into the coziest cosmetic and home decor rewards by watching your favorite streamers play the game. The Flame Pact set can be unlocked in parts. Watch an hour to unlock the boots and pants, 90 minutes to unlock the gloves, 2 hours to unlock the vest, 3 hours to unlock the wall emblem and a total of 4 hours to unlock the hat!

Here's what the full set and wall emblem look like:



These rewards can also be found through normal gameplay for the most daring explorers.

New Enshrouded update makes multiplayer much easier, as 1.0 window is set

If you've stepped away from Enshrouded, waiting for the perfect time to jump back into the survival game, this is it. Developer Keen Games has just released Enshrouded's fifth big update, which is filled with new content and ways to communicate with other players. But that's not all, as we've got our first look at the game's 2025 roadmap and an update on when we can expect the full 1.0 launch.

Enshrouded Roadmap 2025 & Anniversary Trailer!

Greetings, Flameborn!

That's right, your eyes are not deceiving you: we have the full Enshrouded roadmap for 2025! But before we move on, we have just published the Pact of the Flame update, with a long list of improvements and quality of life updates! Check out the announcement here, or better yet, open the link in a new tab and read it after.

But first things first: why is there a full roadmap for 2025? Well, as we said right from the start, your support has meant that we could the world of Enshrouded a lot bigger than we originally thought, with more features, more biomes, more quests, basically, more of everything! But as you know we're not a big team, and making games takes time, effort, and lot of praying to the machine gods for the build not to crash. As a result, and with a full update schedule for 2025, we are locking down a Spring 2026 release date for the full 1.0 version of Enshrouded.

And just before we move on to the good stuff, we've cooked up a little anniversary video to thank you all for a great year for Keen Games, Enshrouded, and our community. Here's A Year of Enshrouded:
