October Update - v2.07 Patch Notes

Highlights
  • Leaderboards are finally here! Time to lay down some hot laps, check out the top times, and see how you stack up against the competition.
  • Spend more time racing and less time waiting when playing Online! The race end timer has been extended to 60 seconds to allow more players to finish races. The race results timer has been reduced to 30 seconds to get players back into the action sooner.
  • The final track adjustments for the 2023 ProMotocross Championship are in! 2023 Budds Creek, Unadilla, and Ironman have been updated to be more like the actual race events.
  • Rainy weather conditions are now available on all outdoor events!
  • New Rider Gear! TLD SE Ultra Arc jersey and pants in 2 standard colors and 1 custom!
  • More New Rider Gear! FXR Dart Frog jersey, pants, and gloves in 2 standard colors and 1 custom! And ATR-2 Inferno helmet in 1 standard color and 1 custom!
  • Try out three new experimental cameras inspired by previous MX vs. ATV games. Hit us up on Discord and let us know what you think!
  • Added the option to convert PS4™ save data to PS5™ save data and transfer trophy progress. This will overwrite the existing PS5™ save data for the associated profile and all progress will be permanently lost.
  • 2023 GASGAS motocross bikes and a new Track Pack are right around the corner.
  • Happy Halloween! Enjoy some spooky season flair in the pause menu during the month of October.

  • UI: Fixed minor composition bugs in Location Selection, Online, and other menus.
  • UI: Updated track images for nearly all tracks in the game.
  • UI: Added a HUD element which displays the name of the current camera when swapping cameras.

  • DLC: Added data for upcoming DLC Vehicle Pack: 2023 GasGas MC 125, MC 250, MC 250F, MC 450F. And some bonus gear.
  • Online: Adjusted the end of race timers during Online races. The Race-End timer has been increased from 30 seconds to 60 seconds to allow more players to finish races. The Post-Race Results timer has been decreased from 60 seconds to 30 seconds to reduce the wait time before getting to the lobby of the next event.
  • Customization: Added TLD SE Ultra Arc jersey and pants in 2 standard colors and 1 custom color.
  • Customization: Added FXR Podium Dart Frog jersey and pants in 2 stock colors and 1 custom color.
  • Customization: Added FXR Reflex Dart Frog gloves in matching 2 stock colors and 1 custom color.
  • Customization: Added FXR 6D ATR-2 Inferno helmet in 1 stock color and 1 custom color.
  • Physics: Improved terrain deformation when leaning, turning, or sliding. When turning, the terrain now builds up only on the outside of the turn, leaving a smoother graded rut on the inside of the turn. This will make smoother deformation in turns which are easier to hook up into.
  • Physics: Added speed wobbles when going in reverse at high speed. The wobbles start around 30 mph and become terminal at 40 mph.
  • Animation: Fixed torso twisting on more ATV stunts.
  • Other: Added the option to convert PS4™ save data to PS5™ save data and transfer trophy progress. This will overwrite the existing PS5™ save data for the associated profile and all progress will be permanently lost.

  • Due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback on 2023 Unadilla, we've decided to leave the track unchanged despite the difference in the actual race event.
  • Track features on 2023 Loretta Lynn's have been updated to be more like the actual race event.
  • Supercross and Nationals online playlists have been updated. Thanks for all your feedback this Summer. Keep it coming.
  • Controller vibration has been totally overhauled! Feel the difference when the RPMs hit the redline or your tires start to slip.
  • New Gear! Thor Prime Rival jersey and pants in 4 standard colors and 1 custom!
  • Get ready to lay down some hot laps! Leaderboards are coming soon!
  • The chance of getting Rainy weather conditions for events has been decreased to 10%
  • Significantly increased wreck thresholds, so that players are less likely to crash while sliding
  • Clutch Boost has been adjusted so that the length of boost is shortened

  • Gameplay: Overhauled the controller vibration system and added more options for controlling the haptic feedback experience.
  • Gameplay: Added vibration feedback when reaching the RPM redline.
  • Audio: Fixed missing localized voiceover for non-English languages.
  • Online: Updated Supercross and Nationals online playlists based on feedback and player data gathered during the Summercross event. Supercross is now 5 laps with a 60-second lobby. Nationals is now 3 laps with a 90-second lobby.
  • Online: Leaderboard infrastructure is in place. Over the course of this patch we will start collecting lap times and refining the system. Expect the full Leaderboard release in the next patch.
  • Online: Improved server stability and error reporting.
  • Online: Fixed a bug which could cause the wrong riders to appear on the podium if a spectator was present or if a player left the match.
  • Online: Improved the clarity Spectators in the race results by marking and sorting their positions correctly and nullifying their stats.
  • Customization: Added Thor Prime Rival jersey and pants in 4 standard colors and 1 custom.
  • Physics: Made it easier to seat-bounce while leaning with the right-stick.
  • Physics: Significantly increased the wreck thresholds when sliding, especially at high-speed.
  • Physics: Fixed uncommon bug causing a wreck to trigger after turning or sliding in corners.
  • Physics: Slightly shortened the length of time the clutch boost is applied to reduce overall acceleration when using the clutch.
  • Animation: Improved ATV stunt animations and fixed several instances of the rider's torso twisting.
  • Animation: Improved blending of tear-off animation with the other riding animations.

  • Get your umbrella ready! Rainy weather conditions have been added to all 2023 Pro Motocross DLC tracks & to Rawlings Farm.
  • Track features on 2023 Southwick, Spring Creek, and Washougal have been updated to be more like the actual race events.
  • New rider gear! Alpinestars Supertech Bruin and Fly Evolution DST jerseys and pants are now available in the Locker.
  • The accuracy of the terrain deformation has been improved, especially over long events with heavy deformation.
  • ATVs got a little love. ATV turning capabilities and overall grip have been increased.
  • Stunts on MX and ATV are looking better than ever! And it's now easier to chain together big stunt combos.

  • Physics: Fixed a bug in terrain deformation which could result in differences between the visible terrain and the actual driving surface. This generally resulted in tires popping into the air when driving over visibly flat terrain.
  • Physics: Increased the turning capabilities of ATVs by increasing the overall grip and easing turning restrictions.
  • Physics: Slightly reduced the strength of braking on ATVs so to compensate for changes in grip.
  • Physics: Slightly reduced the acceleration on ATVs to compensate for changes in grip, keeping their overall balance against MX Bikes intact.
  • Physics: Added feature to make wheelie and stoppies easier to perform and reduce wrecks from "Whiskey Throttle" when using Pro Physics.
  • Animation: Improved appearance of stunt animations.

• Updated rear brake behavior to make it function more like a rear brake should. Rear Brake now locks the tire when braking hard, making brake-sliding into turns more believable. Rear Brake now locks the tire when Airborne and also adds Brake Gyro.
• Added a feature which prevents vehicles from sticking together when colliding with an AI Vehicle.
• Made it easier to chain together stunt combos by fixing underlying issues in the stunt system.
• Added Alpinestars Supertech North rider gear in Light, Dark, and Custom Color.
• Many minor improvements to rider and vehicle animations, loosened-up riding and cornering animations a bit.
• Fixed issues which could cause weather audio to be absent or vehicle audio to be drowned out during intense weather.

  • Prepare for scorching hot online races this Summer with SummerCross! A new set of playlists will be delivered each week for six weeks starting June 27th.
  • New Graphic Kits from Backyard Design have been added for all MX Bikes.
  • 2023 Pro Motocross Thunder Valley and Hangtown have been updated to make the tracks more authentic to the real-world races.
  • More 2023 Pro Motocross tracks on the horizon!
  • Retuned Scrubs and Quick-Scrubs to make them easier again while retaining some balance changes.
  • Now that the mud is flying, the goggle tear-off animation has returned.
