Patch Notes for Kristala Version 0.1.3.1

IMPORTANT NOTE: An issue pinpointed in Version 0.1.3.0 related to existing Game Saves failing to load-in properly is still present in this update, causing the character to load-in without armor and other key inventory items.

Although we recommend simply starting a New Game to experience all the recent implementations that were added to the game in Version 0.1.3.0, please create a backup of your existing Save files if you plan on attempting to open them; this way, your Save(s) may be recovered at a later date.

These save game files can be found via the following folder path: %localappdata%/Kristala/Saved/SaveGames/

Known Bugs for Kristala Version 0.1.3.1

The following is a brief list of known bugs and issues we're actively working on addressing in Kristala Version 0.1.3.1. Updates on these issues will be detailed in future patch notes.

  • Lophi’s boss-fight musical track often restarts right after it begins; we’re looking into this.
  • Interactions with NPC Zazagrul sometimes fail to show properly, but if you move away from Zaza and then return to her, they should work again.
  • Holding keys to both Finish Dialogue and Open Items within the Inventory currently isn't working; this will be addressed soon.
  • The Cancel button isn’t currently working in the Bug Reporter tool, but you can still navigate to the top panel to exit the tool.
  • Some Spider enemies may not move in the Fungalwood Forest area of Dalamase; we’re working on addressing this.
  • At times, the game may crash when you attempt to take a picture using the Photo Mode tool; this is a top priority fix for us.

We appreciate all the continued feedback and bug reports you've been submitting and welcome additional reporting and quality-of-life suggestions as we continue to refine and optimize the game.
