[Improvements / Content Update]
- New modifier to let you wield two of the same boss sword
- Optimized dismemberment
- New skill: Asterokinesis (recharge rate for boss swords)
- Added a setting to not change color and contrast during Chronokinesis
- Left-handed movement invert option (move with right, rotate with left)
- Raised skill cap (from 32 to 40 maximum upgrades available)
- News board to allow us to show information without needing a patch
- Player kicking will apply force to dead enemies
- Bosses will no longer say the same voice line twice in a row
- Reduced cooldowns for kicking (shortest is now 2s at max Taekwondo)
- Samurai brightened up a bit (they were too dark on non-Pirate maps)
- Added a max movement deadzone for thumbsticks
- Sword weights reduced on some weapons that feel too heavy on Light

[Bug Fixes]
- Bug fix: Sometimes slashing doesn't register
- Bug fix: Player kicks don't always interrupt or knock-back enemies
- Bug fix: Sometimes a hand would stop being able to pick things up
- Bug fix: Blackbeard can still fall off the ship in a specific spot (rare)
- Bug fix: Sometimes dropping items breaks the hand
- Bug fix: Jotunn can swing when trying to do special attacks

- Blackbeard buffed
- Enemy ragdolls are heavier
- Weight and stiffness adjustments made to weapons
- The Gun Sword can now penetrate (shooting) through one body
- New modifier: Unlimited Gun Sword range
- Brightened the Horde map a bit
- Boss weapon recharge modifier works twice as fast now

- Slightly reduced chance of decapitation by Gun Sword at larger distances

- Dismemberment (learn more in-game via tool-tip next to Gore setting)
- New Faction: Pirates, which includes:
New map, 5 levels and a boss fight, Unique boss weapon (Gun Sword), Pirate Armor and Hat via the Armorer, Pirate Cutlass, Unique combat event (Kraken)
- Replaced Slayer sword with new model
- Improved parry collision accuracy and reliability
- Balanced armor and weapon brightness throughout the game
- Knights boss gets less HP per heal with armor physics enabled
- Changed rules for Ultimate Swordsman (see tooltip in-game)
- Added Tool Tips to some options in Settings

- Added the option to remove the arm spread pop-up
- Added (low) blunt damage to enemies with armor physics on
- Enemies dash back half as often as before

- Bug fix: Knights boss healing sound can get stuck in level

- Bug fix: Players can complete normal levels even when hard-locked by modifiers

Regarding Armor Physics

Hi everyone,

The 1.22 hotfix that just came out to fix the ability to enable the "Enemy Armor Physics" modifier has been rolled back to 1.21 temporarily. We're running a contest with VALVR (Winter Games) and this hotfix has affected enemy HP, making it unfair for the players competing in the event.

We're going to push the 1.22 update back in on March 9th, right after the competition round ends to keep it fair for those players. This means that until March 9th, the enemy armor physics modifier will not work.

However, because enabling the modifier doubles your rewards in-game (for making the game harder for yourself), from now until March 9th, you're basically getting free double rewards for keeping the modifier on since armor physics won't actually work to make the game harder. Hopefully the free rewards will justify the few-day wait on armor physics. Truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
