The ~CRYPT OF SNEK~ Halloween Update Is Live!

Crypt of Snek is our Halloween event, starting today (Oct. 25) and ending Nov. 1.

If you play Temple Of Snek during that time, you'll permanently unlock some scale patterns in Mek-a-Snek, and also temporarily unlock the new snek body Serpenta Muerta (Dead Snek):



While Serpenta Muerta is selected, the game renders with a SPOOKY shader, and there is more blood... a lot more blood.

If you get (or already have) the NoRespek achievement, you can keep Serpenta Muerta forever! (You don't have to get the achievement during the event time, you can unlock it at any time after Nov. 1 as well)

You can change body in the Mek-a-Snek menu, or if you haven't unlocked Mek-a-Snek yet, you can deactivate the event in the Content menu.

A clever discord member found a potential softlock, so here's a quick fix!

Just a tasty little patch to feed the Coatlicue update!

Improvements since 0.2.0:
  • Added Simplified Chinese translation to Coatlicue update.
  • When you hover over locked menu buttons and get the tooltip, the tooltip will now tell you what achievement you need to unlock that feature.
  • On the pause menu, added button prompt to remind players about the feedback form.
  • Blocked a minor exploit in the Treasury to stop players bypassing a tutorial puzzle, forcing Snek to do her homework.


Fixes:
  • Fixed problem where respawning on a bridge would cause Snek's tail to hang through the bridge.
  • Fixed wrong texture on tail-tip after using the Rendering options menu to disable a custom snek-skin.
  • Fixed the Exras screen oops all Mek-a-Snek.
  • Fixed incorrect snek-clipping height for priestesses. Now they are free to be gibbed by falling giant snakes, on the off chance.
