Improvements 👍🏾

Media Panel
We wanted to offer you the ability to seamlessly integrate Media Panels into your assets, creating a convincing screen effect. With our latest update, you now have the option to completely hide the borders of the Media Panel. Give it a try!

Also, in response to numerous requests, we've included a highly-requested feature: the ability to pause and resume Media Panel medias using the Play and Stop media nodes. Explore this exciting addition today!

Avatar Recorder
In June, we unveiled the Avatar Recorder, and after extensive feedback and internal testing, we identified a crucial missing piece: lip movement recording.

We are thrilled to announce this exciting enhancement, enabling the Avatar Recorder to capture not only your movements but also your lip sync, allowing you to create the most lifelike and immersive experiences.

Bug Fixes 🐞

 • Fixed an issue where undoing or redoing an action in Multiplayer Create would close the Collections panel for all players.

Late June 2023

Hello there, 👋🏻

We have been working diligently since our last May update to bring you some exciting new features and improvements in StellarX!
New Features 💫
Multiplayer in Create Mode

We're thrilled to announce the arrival of Multiplayer in Create Mode! The StellarX team has put in a lot of effort to deliver the first iteration of this feature, allowing you to share your creative experiences with others. Here's how it works:
 1. Select your Space in your Basecamp to enter Focus View.
 2. In the Information Panel (on the right), click the "Share my Space" button to generate a code.
 3. Share the code with a friend or coworker (they can download it by entering the code in the Shared Spaces section).
 4. Enter the Space in Create mode.
 5. Enjoy the collaborative experience!

Please note that this is the initial version of Multiplayer in Create Mode, and some features are not yet available. Here's what you can do:
 • Create immersive experiences with friends.
 • Add assets from the collections to your Space.
 • Interact with assets using all Control Panel tools (Grab, Transform, Clone, Delete, Undo, Redo).

Here's what you cannot do:
 • Collaborative scenario creation.
 • Adding and interacting with the following specific assets: Canvas, Imported Assets, Media Panel, Web Panel, Particles, Waypoints

We apologize for not including these awesome assets just yet, but rest assured that our team is working hard to bring them to you as soon as possible! In the meantime, enjoy this new collaborative option and let us know your feedback!

Voice Assist

Now, you can perform various creation tasks without using hand or head gestures by speaking commands into the Voice Assist system! Find more information here: [Voice Assist documentation]

Avatar Recorder

The Avatar Recorder is an asset that allows you to customize your Space with avatars and NPCs. Simply place an Avatar Recorder from your library into your Space, remix it, and start recording your movements! The animation can be played and stopped using the PlayAnimation and StopAnimation nodes, adding life to your Space.

Shared Spatial Anchors

We added Shared Spatial Anchors in our Mixed Reality panel for the Standalone version (for Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest Pro).

Shared Spatial Anchors enable the sharing of Spatial Anchors among users within a given physical space. This functionality enables the creation of local multiplayer experiences by establishing a shared, location-based frame of reference for multiple users.
Improvements 👍🏾
We have enhanced the UI visuals and renamed several sections and features in the Basecamp to provide better descriptions.

We are incredibly grateful for the amazing support we've received since our Meta Release, and your feedback has been invaluable to us! Please continue to share your thoughts on how we can improve your StellarX experience. Stay tuned for future updates and enjoy the journey with us! 🎉

For the release on the Meta Quest Store, we've also made sure to adapt some of our older templates to make them compatible with this more lightweight version of StellarX*:

 • Added the Airdock Template, an adapted version of the Hangar that's compatible with StellarX Standalone (Meta Quest Store).

 • Added the Auditorium Template, an adapted version of the Conference Room that's compatible with StellarX Standalone (Meta Quest Store).

*⚠ StellarX Standalone will fully support the following templates: Empty Space, Monorail, Storage Facility, Airdock, Auditorium, and Winterscape. We are working really hard to bring as much content as possible to this Standalone version, so stay tuned for future updates!

Improvements 👍🏾
 • Medias in Media Panels will pause automatically when the StellarX app is unfocused.
 • Spaces in the Basecamp are now loaded over time, to prevent any lag or discomfort.
 • Added many prompts and information panels to monitor internet connectivity and inform the user if the connection was lost.

Bug Fixes 🐞
 • Fixed an issue in the Basecamp where Sections would not remain highlighted after selecting them.
 • Fixed many performance issues associated with Collection Assets where FPS would sometimes drop below 60 FPS.
 • Fixed a performance issue with the Transform Axis tool where FPS would sometimes drop as low as 43 when using it.
 • Added a loading screen after creating a Space to prevent any lag or discomfort in VR.
 • Added a loading screen after deleting a Space to prevent any lag or discomfort in VR.
 • Fixed issues associated with the VoiP where we would sometimes lose the microphone functionality after losing internet connection.
 • Fixed performance issues associated to particles, where FPS would often drop below 55 while emitting smoke or fire.

We are so very proud of this milestone, and cannot wait to hear from you! And as always, stay tuned for future updates. 🎉
