Hi again, πŸ‘‹πŸ½

How have you been doing? We've been doing great, and keeping extra busy with plenty of cool updates. Here's the latest:


New Features πŸ’«
  • We added a new template: the Forest. Let us know what you think!


  • We added previews for user Spaces.
  • For older Spaces, make sure to open them and Save them. You may need to launch StellarX again to see the previews in the Base Camp.


[Removed] Features Β­πŸ”¨πŸ’£
  • We removed the Grab Bag from StellarX temporarily. In our eyes, the Grab Bag is an unfinished feature, which lacks customization and interaction options. In order to better address your needs, we're going back to the drawing board and we'll keep you updated as we move forward!


Bug Fixes 🐞
  • Fixed an issue where adding multiple Set as Tool nodes on an asset would leave multiple silhouettes when grabbing the tool.
  • Fixed an issue that would prevent a Space preview from being saved whenever its name included the word: Space.
  • Fixed an issue where remixing mechanical assets wouldn't change their value correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where the media panel couldn't be instantiated again with a Redo after a Delete.


Improvements πŸ‘πŸ» We made many improvements to the Desktop mode:
  • Mechanical assets are now easier to interact with! For example, the lever is now interactable.
  • It's much easier to replace a tool in its silhouette.
  • Fixed issues where the UI could not be interacted with after losing its focus on the application.
  • Fixed an issue where we could not navigate between Spaces in the Base Camp after a while.

Another Sprint, another update! Here's what we've been up to these past two weeks:


New Features πŸ’«
  • We've added previews of our Template Spaces so that you can get a sneak peek of what they're like and what they're about. πŸ‘€




Bug Fixes 🐞
  • Fixed an issue that caused the displayed creation date of Spaces to be incorrect.
  • Fixed a bug where snapped assets in Preview mode would not be restored to their initial position when swapping back into Create mode.
  • Fixed an issue with the Base Camp Space selection where entering a Space in play mode would sometimes launch the wrong Space. (Sorry about that.)


Improvements πŸ‘πŸ»
  • Improved the rendering quality of imported assets.
  • Reduced the loading time when executing StellarX from Steam.

Hope you're all keeping well. We've been keeping busy on end, and can't wait for you to try out our latest version. Here's what you can expect:


New Features πŸ’«
  • Creators can now modify the Time of Day system to make their Spaces more immersive. You can change the orientation (longitude) of the Sun β˜€οΈ / Moon πŸŒ™, set a specific time of day to your Space, and decide if you want a Day and Night Cycle with the simple toggle switch. Check it out and let us know what you think!




  • [BETA] You can now give our StellarX Desktop Mode a try. Simply select the Desktop configuration when the application is launched.




  • We've added a new Warehouse template to StellarX.





Bug Fixes 🐞
  • Fixed an issue where people would start their StellarX experience with an empty pink sky instead of the StellarX loading screen.
  • Fixed a bug where the Base Camp would allow you to enter a non existent Space after cancelling the application closure.
  • Fixed a bug where the position in the Canvas was not properly saved.


Improvements πŸ‘πŸ»
  • We've brought many improvements to our Atmospheric system so that you can enjoy better lighting in your Spaces.
  • We removed the suffix "Template" from our template titles located in the "Create Space" section of the Base Camp.

We hope you creators out there have been enjoying the latest StellarX updates. As per usual, we've been working on some new stuff for you:


New Features πŸ’«
  • As a creator, you can now undo and redo Actions, which includes placing or removing assets from the Space, as well as transforming assets in Space.




  • As a creator, you can now use the all-new Axis Transform action to transform your assets. (Let us know what you think!)




  • We have added a shortcut menu in all StellarX experiences for an easier access of options.




Bug Fixes 🐞
  • Fixed an issue that prevented wheel rotations from replicating properly via the network when an asset was snapped to it.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented some physical assets from being restored when swapping from Preview Mode to Create Mode.


Improvements πŸ‘πŸ»
  • We have greatly improved our UIs throughout StellarX.
  • Autoscrolling now allows you to read Space names in the Basecamp and asset names in the Collections, in their entirety.
  • It's now possible to detect particle collisions with the Collision Node.
