What’s up, folks!
In this update, we have added a new gameplay option "Interdependent Fortune" in [Bizarre Dream]: Starting from Anxi Desert, players can select additional Occult Scrolls in the starting stage, but enemies will also randomly obtain corresponding Occult Scrolls effects. At the same time, now players are allowed to customize the priority order of elemental conversion in "Spiritual Link", as well as talent "Golden Touch" which automatically recovers uncollected weapons/scrolls when switching stages. Additionally, we plan to update the new map of [Spiritual Assault] at the end of this month, so stay tuned~

  • Interdependent fortunes:
    Players can select addition occult scrolls in the starting stage of Anxi Desert, but the enemy will also possess with corresponding Occult Scrolls effects.

    The Occult Scrolls that available to enemies are as follows:
    [Deflection Shield]
    -50% DMG taken from enemies over 15m away, +50% DMG taken from enemies within 15m away.
    [Paranormality]
    Monster's Shields/Armor doubled. Monsters without shields/armor gain a shield equal to twice their maximum health, and then their maximum health is set to 1.
    [Flesh and Bones]
    Convert all Shield/Armor to HP and recover 3% max HP/s. (Effects on elite enemy are reduced by 80%)
    [Lifesaver]
    When HP is reduced to 0, HP is fixed at 1 for 1s. Each time of dealing DMG on enemies within this duration will recover 10% Max HP and 10% Max Shield/Armor. This effect will only trigger once.
    [Resolute]
    +50% Movement Speed and +25% DMG when your Shield/Armor is 0. Doubles the time a shield rests before recharging.
    [Elemental Power]
    When affected by Elemental Effect, there is a 50% chance to spread the Elemental Effect to the player.
    [Sanguine Relic]
    +3% Life Steal when dealing DMG, +50% Max HP. +50% DMG taken (Effects on elite enemy are reduced by 80%).
    [Terminal Lucidity]
    Every time player lose 20% of total HP, all negative effects on monster itself will be cleared.
    [Snow boots]
    Gain immunity to Slows and +20% Movement Speed.
    [Gold Medal]
    Recover 3% Max Shield/Armor in each DMG inflicted on players (Effects on elite enemy are reduced by 80%).
    [Spirit Feline]
    +100% DMG taken, but DMG taken from each hit won't exceed 14% of total max HP.
    [Deadly Curse]
    +50% dealing DMG; -50% Max HP.
    [Penetration Bullet]
    +40% dealing DMG to players when their Shield/ Armor is above 0.
    [Persistent]
    -0.5% DMG taken for every 1% HP missing.
    [Lightless Shield]
    Gain 1 stacks of Lightless Shield every 10s. Immune to DMG and control for 1s. You can only have up to 1 stack at any given time.
    [Phantom Skin]
    Gain 1 stack of Phantom Skin every 15s. A stack is consumed whenever you take DMG, restoring 10% of your Shield/Armor (Effects on elite enemy are reduced by 80%). You can only have up to 3 stacks of Phantom Skin at any given time.
    [Thorny Carapace]
    Inflict the Decay Effect on the corresponding player when taking DMG.
    [Coin Shot]
    When dealing DMG to the player, their current copper amount -10 (can only trigger once per second).
    [Gourmet]
    After being defeated, recover other monsters' 20% Max HP (Effects on elite enemy are reduced by 95%).
    [Elemental Torment]
    50% chance to inflict a random Elemental Effects when dealing DMG.
    [Reinforced Eggshell]
    -30% DMG taken when your Shield/Armor is not 0; +30% DMG taken when your Shield/Armor is 0.
    [Strategic Advantage]
    +40% Movement Speed for 3s after each attack.
    [Shrine of Recovery]
    Restore full HP when not taking DMG for 4s.
    [Flame Shard]
    DMG is converted to Fire DMG and -30% Fire DMG taken.
    [Lightning Shard]
    DMG is converted to Lightning DMG and -30% Lightning DMG taken.
    [Corrosion Shard]
    DMG is converted to Corrosion DMG and -30% Corrosion DMG taken.
    [Heavy Shield]
    When hit by enemies, -10% Movement Speed for 10s. 25% chance to immune to all DMG.
    [Backup Shield]
    Recover 40% Shield/Armor instantly when the Shield/Armor is broken for the first time.
    [Safety Measures]
    Dealing DMG within 0.5s upon a DMG taking, can restore 20% of the total HP (Health + Shield/Armor) lost from the damage taken.
    [Fire Enthusiast]
    Always in Burning Effect, restore 6% of total HP per second (Effects on elite enemy are reduced by 80%). After recovering 25% of Max HP, the healing efficiency decreases to 50% of its original value.
    [Corrosion Enthusiast]
    Always in Decay Effect, -20% damage taken and +40% movement speed.
    [Lightning Enthusiast]
    Always in Lightning Effect, +50% DMG.
    [Long Shot]
    Increase weapon DMG when hitting the player away from you. The further they are, the larger the bonus (up to 100%).
    [Mutual Respect]
    Grants +5% DMG and -3% DMG taken to monster itself for every [Mutual Respect] itself and the nearby monster(s) own.
    [Generosity]
    Gain 2% lost HP per second, while enemies within 15m will gain 25% of the effect(Effects on elite enemy are reduced by 80%).
    [Capacity Overdraft]
    -70% Attack Interval, dealing 5% True DMG (Current HP+Shield/ Armor)to monster itself in each missing attack, this effect will not knock you down.
    [Resilient Life]
    After taking DMG, restore 3% HP per second for 5s (Effects on elite enemy are reduced by 25%).
    [Stone Skin]
    -30% DMG taken for 3s upon taking DMG. (Does not stack)
    [Spirit Bible]
    -40% Skill DMG taken.
    [Overwhelming Shield]
    Shield recovery will not be stopped but -50% Recovery Speed. (Effects on elite enemy are reduced by 45%).
    [Extravagant Consumption]
    50% chance to drop 1 coppers when inflicting DMG. +20% DMG taken after dropping copper, up to 5 stacks (Can trigger at most once every 3 seconds)
    [No Discounts]
    20% chance to drop double amount of coppers.
    [Old Battle Boots]
    +100% DMG taken from sources within 10m and -10% Movement Speed.
    [Fragile Body]
    0.25% DMG taken for each 1% HP missing.
    [Clumsy Throw]
    After being defeated by a player, +50% Skill DMG on the corresponding player for 3 seconds.
    [Moldy Bun]
    Initial HP is randomly generated between 50% to 90%.
    [Broken Gun]
    15% chance to cause only 1 DMG when dealing DMG.
    [Cowardly Bully]
    -30% DMG dealing to player with more than 80% of the total.
    [Cautious Shot]
    Every missing shot causes 10% True DMG of the total HP (Current HP+Shield/ Armor) to monster itself. This effect will not knock you down.


[h2]Spiritual Assault[/h2]
  • New challenge [Treasure Hunt]:
    According to the hint, players spend a certain amount of time searching the real treasure.
  • Increase the time of rest phase in Spiritual Assault


[h2]Daily Challenge[/h2]
  • Fixed the problem that in the challenge [Crystal Seeker], the extra special effect [Invulnerable Dome] would still make enemies within the range immune to damage after the crystal disappeared
  • Fixed the problem that in the challenge [Economic pressure], after discarding the Occult Scrolls [Paranormality], the effect of reducing the Max HP was incorrectly calculated.


[h2]Interface UI[/h2]
  • Optimized the performance of Bizarre Dreams in the player information interface and settlement panel.
  • Optimized the display rules of the progress bar during the rest phase of the Spiritual Assault
  • In the [Spiritual Link], when the player has multiple [Elemental Conversion] at the same time, the required conversion type can be manually adjusted.

  • Optimize the effect of [Golden Touch]. In addition to the Spiritual Assault, when switching stages in the game, it will automatically recycle its own Weapons/Occult Scrolls in the battlefield.
  • Adjustment on Peculiar Chests:
    The Enhanced Occult Scrolls obtained from [Upgrade a scroll to an Enhanced Occult Scroll] will keep the [Dual-edge] and [Veteran] accumulated stacks.
    Significantly reduce the total cost of [Search Enhanced Occult Scrolls], but the search only available for 15 times.

  • Fixed an issue that the animation of [Umbrella Spirit] may be improper after being defeated.
  • Fixed an issue that in some cases, the hero moves abnormally when holding [Icy Spear], [Golden Bow] and Strike Wing in the third-person view.
  • Fixed several terrain issues.
  • Fixed an issue that loots are unable to pick in some scenes.
  • Fixed an issue that the improper motion display of [Golden Bow] in some circumstances.
  • Fixed an issue that in some circumstances, the skill DMG does not apply properly on launcher DMG.
  • Fixed an issue that the DMG of occult scrolls [Energy Sandals] and [Skill Booster] does not apply properly on the main skill [Swords Out] of [Tao].
  • Fixed an issue that the [Crown Prince] ascensions [Energy Bolt] had an abnormal effect chance of level 1.
  • Fixed an issue that the spiritual blessing [Tsunami Punch] of [Qian Sui] could not stack up the Occult Scrolls layers of [Merciless Combo] in some circumstances.
  • Fixed an issue that the Spiritual Blessing [Tsunami Punch] from [Qian Sui] is unable to trigger the Occult Scrolls [Elemental Magazine].





Additional Update - 3/18
  • Fixed an issue that the spiritual blessing [Tsunami Punch] of [Qian Sui] could not stack up the Enhanced Occult Scroll layers of [Merciless Combo] in some circumstances.
  • Fixed a text error that challenge [Treasure Hunt] in Spiritual Assault is only displayed in Chinese.

Update Notes - 2/17

What’s up, folks!
In this update, we added new Challenge Events and new item - Spiritual Seal in [Spiritual Assault], and adjusted several Spiritual Jades and Spiritual Ascensions. Meanwhile, 3 new General Spiritual Blessings are available right now, with multiple changes in existing Spiritual Blessings, Ascensions, and Talents.

On the other hand, the Update Roadmap 2023 is released. In this year, Gunfire Reborn will keep being better with more new contents - New Heroes, New Weapons, and New Mode, which already under full development. Out next paid DLC will be launched in the Q2, and we are working on the polish of New Heroes and New Weapons in it, so that it could reach a satisfying quality. Please look forward to it!

  • [Counterviolence]: +1x CritX. Weapon DMG has a 50% chance to become a Crit Hit.
  • [Skilled Trick]: Every time you use the Weapon Skill, +20% Lucky Shot Chance for 10s (up to 10 stacks).
  • [Armed Caster]: +50% Skill DMG for every 1x CritX of the held weapon.

[h3]Spiritual Blessing Adjustments[/h3]
  • [Ultimate Firearm]
    Old: There's a 75% chance to drop an [enhanced] weapon
    New: There's a 75% chance to drop an [Enhanced] weapon with at least 1 Exclusive Inscription.
  • [Painkiller]
    Old: Obtain a random elemental effect upon dealing DMG, and convert all negative Elemental Effects applied to the hero to bonus with opposite effects.
    New: When inflicting an Elemental Effect to the enemy, there is a 100% chance to inflict all Elemental Effects (CD: 2s). Convert all negative Elemental Effects applied to the hero to bonus with opposite effects.

[h2]Spiritual Assault[/h2]
[h3]Optimizations:[/h3]
  • While interacting with [Peddler], [Craftsman], and [Mysterious Chest], players are immune to all DMG and CC, and cannot deal any DMG to enemies as well.

[h3]New Mechanism - Spiritual Seal:[/h3]
  • [Spiritual Seal] is a consumable item with various effects when activated. Players can bring 1 [Spiritual Seal] at a time.
  • [Spiritual Seal] can be acquired by defeating enemies, and there is a chance that it can be purchased from [Peddler].
  • When a [Spiritual Seal] is picked up, press “G” on keyboard or hold “X” on controller to use it.

[h3]Spiritual Seal Effects:[/h3]
  • [Perishing Snap]: Instantly defeat all normal enemies in the area and acquire their EXP automatically.
  • [Aqua Protection]: All players recover to full HP and become invincible for 20s.
  • [Swift Charge]: +100% Movement Speed for all players for 20s. Nearby normal enemies will be defeated instantly for the duration.
  • [Freezing Spell]: All enemies will be frozen for 10s.
  • [Spray Feast]: +100% Weapon DMG and no ammo consumption for all players for 20s.
  • [Unlimited Mana]: The Primary Skill cooldown of all players is 0 for 20s.

[h3]New Challenge Events: [/h3]

    Get ready before the Challenge Event starts. EXP, copper, buns and other rewards can be obtained during the challenge. Extra scrolls can be obtained when the challenge is successful. However there will be no punishment for failing the challenge.
    Some rewards will drop nearby the player as the crystal loot when the challenge is finished.
  • [Dragon Treasure]: A [Dragon Qian] that run around in the field will spawn. Defeat it to win the challenge.
  • [Dragon Hunt]: Multiple [Dragon Qian] will spawn and run around in the field. Defeat certain amount of [Dragon Qian] to win the challenge.

[h3]Spiritual Jade Adjustments: [/h3]
  • [Air Surfer]
    Old: You can jump 1 more time in mid-air.
    New: You can jump 1 more time in mid-air. +50% Weapon and Skill DMG, -50% DMG taken while in the air.
  • [Reincarnated]
    Old: +2 Revive Chance.
    New: +2 Revive Chance. When your EXP Level is over 30, +100% Weapon and Skill DMG for each Essence Revive.
  • [A Good Man]
    Old: Every time you revive a teammate or yourself, +15% Weapon and Skill DMG and +3% Movement Speed for 180s (up to 10 stacks).
    New: Every time you revive a teammate or yourself, +20% Weapon and Skill DMG and +10% Movement Speed for 180s (up to 10 stacks).
  • [Chromatic Magazine]
    Old: Release an Elemental pulse every time you reload.
    New: Release all 3 Elemental Pulses every time you reload.
  • [Copycat]
    Old: Upon killing (or assisting on kill) an enhanced monster, you obtain their enhanced effects, which lasts for some time. Different enhanced effects will be applied at the same time.

    [Crown Prince]
  • The max level of [Advanced Shield] is reduced to 1.
    Old: After casting Energy Orb, +30%/60%/90% Shield recharge speed and -30%/60%/90% Shield recharge delay for 6/6/20s. (Lv3) The recharge cannot be interrupted once started.
    New: After casting Energy Orb, +60% Shield recharge speed, -60% Shield recharge delay and the recharge cannot be interrupted for 6s.

    [Qing Yan]
  • The max level of [Nova Shockwave] is reduced to 1.
    Old: +5/10/15 max Armor for 8/9/10s for each enemy killed. When your armor breaks, release a nova shockwave that deals [max Armor * 25/35/50] DMG to surrounding enemies.
    New: +10 max Armor for 9s for each enemy killed. When your armor breaks, release a nova shockwave that deals [max Armor * 50] DMG to surrounding enemies.
  • [Hail of Bullets]

    Old: The first 3/4/5 shots after reloading consume no ammo and deal +30%/60%/100% weapon DMG with an additional +20%/30%/40% Lucky Shot chance.
    New: +30%/60%/100% weapon DMG and +20%/30%/40% Lucky Shot chance when the magazine is full . The first 3/4/5 shots after reloading consume no ammo.

[h3]Talent Adjustments: [/h3]
  • Optimized the mechanism of [Lei Luo’s] Talent - [Gifted Man] “During the Fatal Current, Chain Lightning does not cost Secondary Skill uses”. Now [Chain Lightning] can be properly cast when there is no Secondary Skill use.


[h2]Weapon[/h2]
  • Optimized the Exclusive Inscription of [Hexagon]: Shield retraction fires 3 powerful shots, but they no longer seek enemies. DMG bonus can work properly on these powerful shots.


[h2]VFX&Motion[/h2]
  • Optimized the display of fire ball from Fiery enhancement when Special Effect is low.


[h2]Stage[/h2]
  • Now in Reincarnation difficulties, there is a chance that the options related to enhanced scrolls and enhanced weapons appear in [Mysterious Chest].
  • Optimized the deployment of Demonic Aura in [Reincarnation 8] solo and [Lone Wolf].

  • Optimized the sound effect of [Dragon Qian] vault event.
  • Optimized the UI sound at the main menu.

  • Now you can customize the name of Spirit Concentrator plan, and add/delete the plan.
  • Add the minimap icon for crystal loot.
  • Optimized the icon of Mysterious Jokul.

  • Optimized the game mode selection - certain game mode selections (Difficulty/Lone Wolf settings) will no longer reset every time the game is launched.

What's up, folks!
In this update, we added a new option of [Bizarre Dream] - Lone Wolf. You could select 1 extra spiritual blessing before a run starts, and challenge the game in multiplayer difficulty on your own. Meanwhile, we added 13 new Spiritual Jades in [Spiritual Assault]. Now, you could save up to 3 Spiritual Jade plans for each hero. At last, there are some adjustments and optimizations for Spiritual Ascensions, Weapons, Stages, and Monsters. We will keep polishing Spiritual Assault in the upcoming updates.     Only available in single play. But the amount of enemies is same with in multiplayer (enemy status is not changed). You could select the player counts.

Update Notes - 12/2

Hello everyone! In this update, we increased the duration of rest phase and optimized the interaction – now you could skip into the next phase by pressing interact key. Meanwhile, we fixed some frequently reported issues, like the camera stuck and so on. We’ve been adjusting and optimizing [Spiritual Assault] since its release.
