Price Increase Announcement

It's been a year since the early access launch of Gunfire Reborn!

We started the journey with two heroes and 34 weapons. Now, it's time for us to reach the culmination of this wild ride with the 6th hero, the 48th weapon, and the all-new fourth stage on the horizon. We keep making our game better and spare no effort in delivering fresh content. At the same time, with escalating development costs, we plan to increase the game price to $19.99 from Oct. 18th 0:00 (GMT+8).

We will run a "Launch Discount" when v1.0 is officially live. For those who still hesitate to buy the game, it's a great idea to purchase the game at a launch discount.

Thank you all who have supported and trusted us during Early Access, especially a big thank you to every passionate fan who submitted their suggestions and feedback and moulded our game. Without your continued support, this would not have been possible.

The contents in v1.0 are under active development. You can expect the launch of v1.0 in mid-November.

Hello everyone!

In this update, we have added some occult scrolls and adjusted the effects of some spiritual blessings and scrolls. In addition, we have adjusted the method of obtaining a spiritual blessing in [Reincarnation - Longling Tomb - Entrance] (Players can consume a few soul essences to reroll available spiritual blessings). We are still working on tweaking [Reincarnation] difficulty, and we are grateful for your invaluable feedback.

[h3]Reincarnation & Occult Scrolls:[/h3]
  • Adjusted the effects of the following spiritual blessings:
(1) [Battle Scarred]

Old: When HP is less than 50%, there's a 50% chance to recover 20% max HP every time you take DMG.

New: When HP is less than 100%, there's a 75% chance to recover 20% max HP every time you take DMG.

(2) [Atomic Bomb]

Old: When tossing a grenade, there's a 30% chance to throw all remaining grenades.

New: When using a secondary skill, there is a 30% chance to toss all remaining grenades without consuming uses. +50% Explosive Grenade DMG for 3s (stackable) every time any grenade deals DMG.
(3) [Ice Blade]

Old: Deal an additional 10% of the enemy's current HP as True DMG (up to 5,000 True DMG) upon hitting an enemy with a flying sword.

New: Deal an additional 10% of the enemy's current HP as True DMG (up to 5,000 True DMG to elite monsters/bosses) upon hitting an enemy with a flying sword.

(4) [Jackpot]

Old: Obtain 2,000 copper instantly.

New: Get 2,000 copper immediately. +50% all copper gained.

(5) [Endless Assault]

Old: Gain a secondary skill use every 5s.

New: Gain a secondary skill use every 3s.

(6) [Field Proficiency]

Old: +5% Lucky Shot Chance and -5% primary skill cooldown every time you kill an elite monster.

New: +5% Lucky Shot Chance and -5% active skill cooldown every time you kill an elite monster/boss.

(Note: Elite monsters/bosses that are killed before obtaining this spiritual blessing will also be counted)

(7) [Occult Booster]

Old: Dropped scroll has a 50% chance to become an [enhanced] scroll.

New: There is a 20% chance for any scroll to become their enhanced version when obtained.

(Note: Occult scrolls obtained by any mean all have chances to become [enhanced] occult scrolls)

(8) [Ultimate Firearm]

Old: There's a 20% chance to drop an [enhanced] weapon.

New: There's a 40% chance to drop an [enhanced] weapon.

(9) [A Good Man]

Old: After reviving a teammate, gain a buff for 20s. Grants +2%/s HP recovery, +20% movement speed, and +30% weapon and skill DMG with the buff.

New: Reviving a teammate or being revived grants you +2%/s HP recovery, +20% movement speed, and +30% weapon and skill DMG for 60s. (Stackable, up to 3 times).

(10) [Craftsman's Inheritor]

Old: You can upgrade/reforge/etch/reroll weapons for free, but you can only own up to 15 scrolls.

New: You can upgrade/reforge/etch/reroll weapons for free, but you can only own up to 20 scrolls.

  • Scroll Balancing:
(1) [Fast-Loader]

Old: Fill the magazine instantly after swapping weapons.

New: After swapping weapons, replenish the magazine instantly and +30% Lucky Shot Chance. (Gradually decreases to 0% over 3s)

(2) [Brief Respite]

Old: Gain immunity to all DMG for 1s after swapping weapons. (Cooldown: 2s)

New: Gain immunity to all DMG for 1s after swapping weapons or reloading. (CD: 2s)

(3) [Decay Driver]

Old: +20% movement speed for 3s when hitting enemy under decay effect.

New: +20% Movement Speed for 3s after inflicting decay effect or hurting enemies under decay effect.

(4) [Ninja Invincibility]

Old: For each second that player doesn't deal any DMG with weapons, +10% weapon DMG (Max 50%)

New: +5% Lucky Shot Chance per second (up to +50%). Resets after triggering a Lucky Shot.

(5) [Magic Magazine]

Old: When reloading, there is a 33% chance that no reserve ammo is used.

New: When reloading, there is a 33% chance of not consuming reserve ammo and +30% weapon DMG for the reloaded magazine.

(6) [Rock-Hard Determination]

Old: +50% DMG while being stationary.

New: +50% DMG while being stationary. (Gradually decreases to 0% over 4s)

(7) [Devil's Covenant]

Old: After picking up Devil's Covenant, your current HP gets decreased by 75%. Double your current Copper and gain +50% Copper from drops (cannot be discarded).

New: -50% Max HP and +50% copper gained with this scroll

(8) Adjusted the DMG caused to yourself with [Fire Enthusiast]:
Self DMG decreased from 6/s to 5/s

(9) [Enhanced-Coin Shot]

Old: Consume two coins for each hit and +60% weapon DMG. If you kill an enemy in five hits, you will be refunded with coins spent on that enemy. If you hit an enemy with Crit Hit/Lucky Shot/Elemental Effect, you will be refunded with coins spent on this shot.

New: Consume two coins on each hit with +60% weapon DMG (Can't be triggered when you don't have any copper). Killing an enemy in 5 hits refunds all Copper spent on the enemy. Triggering a Crit Hit/Lucky Shot/Elemental Effect does not consume any copper.

(10) [Enhanced-Ninja Invincibility]

Old: For each second that player doesn't deal any DMG with weapons, +10% weapon DMG (Max 100%)

New: +10% Lucky Shot Chance per second (up to +100%). Resets after triggering a Lucky Shot.

(11) [Enhanced·Magic Magazine】

Old: When reloading, there is a 33% chance not to consume reserve ammo. Replenishment equivalent to the magazine capacity is added into reserve ammo.

  • 【Tao】 is now able to cast 【Swords Out】 when she is casting 【Fatal Bloom】, attacking with a melee weapon, or reviving a teammate.

  • The peculiar chest's icon, shown due to the spiritual blessing 【Eye of Providence】, will gray out when players have already interacted with the chest.
  • The range of the controller deadzone is increased to 40.

  • Optimized the challenge event "Monster will cure other allies nearby based on self-lost HP" by increasing the parameter of HP recovery.

  • Tweaked the reward from the chest in one of the【Desert Ruins】. The chest now grants one randomly chosen scroll instead of offering a multiple choice from 3 scrolls.

In this update, we have added some Spiritual Blessings and enhanced occult scrolls, tweaked some weapons, and optimized the experience with controllers.

We’ve also enhanced the punishment for players using cheats in multiplayer mode and will further enhance the methods to discipline misbehaving players in future updates. Meanwhile, we have noticed that many players have attempted to leave early repeatedly in reincarnation mode and plan to address this issue in the September update.

  1. [Eye of Providence]: Vaults and golden treasure chests are visible on the minimap.
  2. [Occult Booster]: There is a 50% chance for scrolls dropped by enemies to become [Enhanced].

  1. Adjusted the effect of [Unstoppable Momentum] (Qing Yan): +100% base DMG for the next leap when you hit an enemy with a leap (up to 5 stacks). Removes all stacks on a miss.
  2. Adjusted the effect of [Weapon Genius] (Ao Bai): When dual-wielding, +30% RoF and 30% chance not to consume ammo when both weapons are the same type, otherwise +50% Lucky Shot Chance.
  3. While holding [Craftsman's Inheritor], if a player still picks up occult scrolls after meeting the upper limit he can carry, a random discardable occult scroll will then be dropped. This discard will not be considered as sharing.
  • [h3]New Enhanced Occult Scrolls: [/h3]
  1. [Enhanced] Elemental Weave: Elemental DMG will always cause an Elemental Effect for 6s after swapping weapons.
  2. [Enhanced] Fountain of Life: Recovers 1 HP whenever you pick up copper or ammo. Increases max HP by 1 for 10s.
  3. [Enhanced] Flowing Wind: While moving, the faster you move, the less DMG you take (up to -20% DMG taken) and the higher you deal (up to +50% weapon and skill DMG).
  4. [Enhanced] Persistent: -0.8% DMG taken for every 1% total HP (Max HP and Max Shield/Armor) missing.
  5. [Enhanced] Arms Dealer: -20% DMG taken and +30% weapon and skill DMG for 3s whenever you consume 10 ammo.
  6. [Enhanced] Lightless Shield: Gain 3 stacks of Lightless Shield every 30s. Each stack prevents an attack and is consumed afterward, granting +75% weapon and skill DMG for 3s. You can only have up to 3 stacks at any given time.
  7. [Enhanced] Phantom Skin: Gain 1 stack of Phantom Skin every 10s. 1 stack is consumed whenever you take DMG, restoring 50% Shield/Armor and granting +30% movement speed for 3s. You can only have up to 3 stacks at any given time.
  8. [Enhanced] Magic Watch: There's a 33% chance to reset the cooldown when you use Primary Skill or Dash, and a 15% chance to reset the primary skill's cooldown upon using a Secondary Skill.
  9. [Enhanced] Magnetic Coil: Every 6s release an electromagnetic pulse that inflicts the Shock Effect for 6s on all enemy it passes through.
  10. [Enhanced] Abnormal Speed: +5% Movement Speed for every 10% total HP (Max HP + Max Shield/Armor) you currently have.
  11. [Enhanced] Coin Shot: Consumes 2 copper with +60% weapon DMG on each hit. (Can't be triggered when you don't have any copper.) Killing an enemy in 5 hits refunds all copper spent on the enemy. If you trigger a crit hit, lucky shot, or elemental effect on hit, you will be refunded with the copper you spent on that hit.
  12. [Enhanced] Mid-Air Strike: +50% Weapon and skill DMG and -90% DMG taken while in mid-air.
  13. [Enhanced] Casual Gunsmanship: +20% Lucky Shot Chance, and there is still a 20% chance to inflict a crit hit if you don't hit weak spots.
  14. [Enhanced] Elemental Torment: +20% Lucky Shot Chance against enemies under an elemental effect; There's a 20% chance to apply an elemental effect when hitting an enemy not affected by any elemental effect.
  15. [Enhanced] Brief Respite: Gain immunity to all DMG for 0.5s after swapping weapons.
  16. [Enhanced] Speedy Pursuit: +50% Lucky Shot Chance for 2s after dashing; -1s Dash cooldown after inflicting a lucky shot.
  17. [Enhanced] Berserk Soul: +1% Lucky Shot Chance for every 1% total HP (Max HP + Max Shield/Armor) missing.
  18. [Enhanced] Merciless Strike: +50% Lucky Shot Chance on a crit hit; +0.5x CritX on a lucky shot.
  19. [Enhanced] Reinforced Eggshell: -30% DMG taken when your Shield/Armor is not 0.
  20. [Enhanced] Blazing Hoop: Every 6s releases a flame pulse that deals 200 Fire DMG and inflicts the Burning Effect for 3s on all enemies it passes through.
  21. [Enhanced] Realm of Corrosion: Every 6s releases a corrosive pulse that inflicts the Decay Effect for 5s on all enemies it passes through.
  22. [Enhanced] Spirit Feline: +100% DMG taken, but DMG taken from each hit won't exceed 11% of the sum of Max HP and Max Shield/Armor
  • Occult scrolls that obtain effects after a certain time interval will start counting time after being picked up, for example [Magnetic Coil] and [Lightless Shield].
  • Optimized the description of [Deadly Curse]: +75% weapon and skill DMG; -75% Max HP.

  • Optimized [Shrieker]:
  1. Description Change: "Charge up a shot that causes a small-area explosion after hitting enemies and generates a larger-area explosion when hitting a barrier." -> "Guarantees critical explosion DMG after hitting a weak spot. Hitting a barrier causes a massive explosion."
  2. CritX: 1.5x -> 2.0x
  3. Reduced vertical recoil and slightly accelerated recovery speed
  4. Decreased attack interval and optimized burst experience (RoF 145 -> 175)
  5. Exclusive Inscription Adjustments:

    ①Removed an exclusive inscription on [Shrieker] : “Charge Time -50%, Reload Speed +50%.”
    ②New exclusive inscription on [Shrieker]: "Piercing +1. Guarantees critical explosion DMG after piercing a weak spot."
    ③New exclusive inscription on [Shrieker]: "For every enemy hit, +25% DMG Dealt (up to +100%) to current attack."
  • Optimized the firing animation and camera shake of [Rainbow]
  • Optimized the reload animation of [Lightning Blast]
  • Optimized [Sting]'s recoil in two-shot mode. It’s now 60% the recoil in three-shot mode.
  • Optimized the mechanic of [Talisman]. Regular fire and the weapon skill can now home in on unopened vaults’ cracks.

  • Inscription Adjustment:
  1. [Frenzied Shark]’s exclusive inscription: "+50% DMG for every bounce the projectile made. (Max+100% DMG)." -> "+50% DMG Dealt for every bounce the projectile made. (Max+100% DMG)."
  • Inscription Description Change:
  1. [Bloody Drill]’s exclusive inscription: "Hits on a bleeding enemy deal +50% damage " -> "Hits on a bleeding enemy gain +50% DMG Dealt."
  2. [Dual Fang]’s exclusive inscription: "During shooting, +40% elemental effect chance for each second (up to 400%), reset when the charge clears" -> "When the charge is full, +40% elemental effect chance every second. (Up to +400%, resets when the charge resets)"
  • Optimized pickup range of some weapons.
  • Simplified descriptions of some weapons and inscriptions

  1. [Elemental] : Increases elemental effect chance of an elemental weapon by 60% - 80%

  • Adjusted the mechanism of Lei Luo’s ascension 【Magical Supply】: After players trigger 【Magical Supply】 and recast 【Fatal Current】, projectiles that have already launched (e.g., additional arrows from 【Strike Wing】) won’t trigger 【Thunderstrike】 again. Only shots that fire after 【Fatal Current】 is recast can trigger 【Thunderstrike】.

  • "Dynamic" is added into the setting of Response Curve:
    Dynamic: Reverse S-curve mapping for more accurate aim rate control.
  • Optimized aim assist: It will no longer interfere with the vertical direction of the crosshair.

In this update, we have fixed an issue where typing Japanese or Chinese with Microsoft IME may cause the game to crash. Thank you for your understanding.
