Tavern Chat #003: [Realm of Frost and Inkwash]

What's up, folks!
We just can't wait to announce that the store page for the new DLC [Realm of Frost and Inkwash] is now available! Let's go and wishlist to get notified when it releases.

The new DLC will be just like the previous style: 2 new heroes and 4 new weapons. What could be fresh is that we'll launch Season 3 gameplay and some free updates (including the new map and enemies we discussed in #002) when the DLC is released.

In this #Tavern Chat#, we gonna dive into the next DLC's content—new heroes and new weapons.

  • [h3]New Hero: Lyn [/h3]


Lyn's core mechanic is hitting on enemy "weak spots" to make them "unbalanced" and then executing them swiftly. Based on this combo, Lyn can enhance her execution or weak spots breaking abilities through ascensions, allowing her to defeat enemies in various ways.

  • [h3]New Hero: Momo [/h3]


Momo is a 'shapeshifter' hero: you can either spread inkwash to turn almost the entire battlefield into your domain, or transform into an inkwash-spirit to dart amongst the enemy. Anyway, mess them up first, and then mow down one by one. Yes, it is his forte indeed.

  • [h3]New weapon type: Staff [/h3]

Love skill-based combat but can't decide on which weapon is more suitable? Check out the new weapon type - Staff. It's designed as a main weapon for skill-based combat, allowing you to deal DMG by the staff while using hero skills. There will be some "interaction" within the staff attack and hero skills. Besides, don't judge a staff by its look! More unexpected shapes might blow your mind.

  • [h3]New weapon: Phoenix Roar (Staff) [/h3]


A staff that can expand the domain, and then coordinate attacks with the hero's skills.

  • [h3]New weapon: Starfly (Staff) [/h3]


Fight alongside the spiritual partner and shoot a barrage of bullets at the enemies.

  • [h3]New Weapon: Tracker (Rifle) [/h3]


Supplemented by a multi-directional engine, the gun locks onto and pursues the enemies, leaving them nowhere to hide.

  • [h3]New Weapon: Tempest (Launcher) [/h3]


Activate the high-tech mask to tag all enemies within range, and inflict a stormy blow!


[h2]Development Progress[/h2]

The current version is in the test and optimization stage. Based on the progress, it is expected to be released by the end of Quarter 3.

Tavern Chat #002: Journey to Beiting Remnant

Long time no see!
Season 2 is halfway over. We bet you've already destroyed countless Dimension Portals. Oh, you definitely won't miss the chance to experience the fun of Mechanisms and Almighty Cores, right? Although it's still a while before the next update, we can't wait to share something new with you!
In today's #Tavern Chat#, let's take a sneak preview into another side of [Anxi Desert] map: [Beiting Remnant].

[h2]Beiting Remnant[/h2]
News from the Spirit Realm revealed that Ao Bai accidentally discovered another path to the Quicksand Pool during his adventure—an ancient ruins site situated in the desert. With new dangers and opportunities, the time for the group to embark on the adventure is about to arrive.

The ancient city ruins under the veil of yellow sand, with the air filled with the scent of gunpowder.


This place has been invaded by insect soldiers, and is also infested with many rogue bandits.


A zipline device for transportation, seems still usable.


[h2]New Enemies[/h2]
Within the ancient city, the sight of the bandit troops is a frequent occurrence, and the arsonists have also equipped themselves with new gear.


Powerful four-handed ant soldiers and spider monsters guard every area.


Are they...the Desert Worms...flying?!


The giant bug-like creature, with unusual power harbored inside! Might be the most formidable enemy in the ancient city.


[h2]Roadmap Update [/h2]
We have refined our roadmap in this update, and the silhouette of new heroes and weapons in the DLC will be closer to their actual designs. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!

  • Fixed the issue where after having all kinds of [Almighty Core], players can not automatically recycle [Almighty Core] via picking them up in [Boundless Dream] and [Endless Journey]
  • Fixed the issue where the slot of [Almighty Core] would be automatically equipped when discarding [Almighty Core]
  • Fixed the issue where [Matrix] might cause improper skill effect of [Lightning Blast]

We have fixed issues such as crashes, black screens, and unresponsive controller buttons under certain circumstances. We have also added auto looting of Almighty Core and optimized startup pop-ups and other content.

Update Notes - 4/30

What's up, folks!
In this update, we supported the button combo setting for controllers and added the previously missing Korean and Russian texts. Some of the issues were also fixed. Thank you for your feedback and suggestions!

Additionally, for the issues of black screen, crashes, and improper modelling, we are urgently addressing them and will need some more time to resolve them. If you encounter this situation, you can try clearing the Background Processes before playing again, and provide the Graphics Card Driver version, Log Files in the game directory, Crash Logs, and the Frequency of this issue to our email address [email protected] for verification. Thank you again for your patience and support.
