Coromon E3 announcements - Switch + timeline change

Hey all! We’re excited that we can finally share a few announcements you may have caught today during E3!

First off, you’ve probably noticed that we now have a publisher, Freedom Games. Partnering with Freedom has been great, and is helping us unlock new possibilities (like being at E3!) and also letting us focus on the most important thing: working on the game. With their help, we’ve been able to increase the scope of our development, and have a bunch of new details to share.

Now the biggest announcement: Coromon will be coming to the Nintendo Switch! This is something we’ve been looking into for a while now to determine if it would even be possible at all. And it is! We think Coromon would make a great fit for the Switch and we’re happy we can finally make that an option for our fans!

We’ll also be able to add online battles, cross platform cloud saves, more Coromon, more side quests, more areas to explore... More everything! And last but not least an improved (and in our opinion, more epic) storyline! Overall the game itself will be more polished, from the different areas, to the cutscenes, to the Coromon themselves. These features will be available on all of our platforms when they release.

With that being said, this change to our plans means that we need to adjust our timeline for release. Previously we had planned to be launching the full game during Q3 2021. That timeline has now shifted to Q1 of 2022. This wasn’t an easy decision for us to make, as we know you are all so excited for Coromon to be fully released. But we assure you this will be the last delay we make.

By delaying the game a little bit longer, we will now have time to finish porting the game over to Switch as well as creating an even better Coromon experience for all of our awesome players. We know this isn’t exactly the announcement you all were hoping for, but we know this will improve the Coromon franchise in the long term.

We’d also like to take a moment to thank all players for their feedback which helps us improve the game. And also for their immense support, which helps to keep us motivated.
We can’t wait for you all to finally play the full release.

We will keep updating the demo up until release, adding in new features, narrative and other improvements. The first of these updates will be released within the next couple of weeks.

Coromon will be at E3!

We’re very excited to announce that Coromon will be at E3 this year! You’ll be able to catch our segment on June 14th at 12:30pm PT! We’ll be sharing some exciting announcements during the event so definitely make sure to tune in! Don't forget to turn on notifications for this event and follow our Steam page! You won’t want to miss it!

Dev Livestream + Q&A

During this livestream event, we'll have two of the developers of Coromon here to show off the game and answer any questions viewers have about Coromon.
