Update 1.4.0 - Skins Reworked + New Unlock System!
[p]We’ve rolled out a major update that redefines how you unlock Skins and cosmetics in Coromon, bringing the experience closer to what PC players expect.[/p][p] [/p][h2]Style Crystal Shop Removed[/h2][p]The Style Crystal shop is no more and replaced with systems designed to feel more rewarding and integrated into the core gameplay.[/p][p] [/p][h3]Coromon Skins[/h3][p]From now on, each Skin is tied to its own gameplay challenge. Complete the challenge, unlock the Skin. No additional currency needed anymore, just play and progress.[/p][p][/p][p](Note: In a future update, unlocked skins and cosmetics will be shared across all save slots.)[/p][p][/p][h3]Character cosmetics[/h3][p]You can now find and unlock character cosmetics through several different methods:[/p]
  1. [p]Adventure Exploration: Discover cosmetics hidden in chests or secret locations.[/p]
  2. [p]Catching Coromon: Unlock Coromon-related cosmetics in the shop by catching those specific Coromon.[/p]
  3. [p]Special Events: Some cosmetics will appear in the shop only during limited-time events.[/p]
  4. [p]Character Creation: All skin tone and glasses options are now available when starting a new game.[/p]

  • [p]Soul Eater: now boosts based on the user’s highest stat instead of opponent’s[/p]
  • [p]Glacial Affinity / +: damage boost capped at 20% / 30%[/p]
  • [p]Conductor, Flare Intake, and Inner Fire: now apply 25% damage reduction in their base Trait[/p]
  • [p]Tough Feet: now blocks all entry hazard effects (not just damaging ones)[/p]
  • [p]Tough Feet + / ++: now recover 10% / 20% SP, but no longer remove hazards[/p]
  • [p]Brave Trait: no longer affected by Menacing Trait or Scary Vision Skill[/p]
  • [p]Escapist++: now boosts Speed and Accuracy by 1 stage (was Speed +2)[/p]
  • [p]Disrupting Aura / + /++: now depletes 5 / 7 / 7 SP instead of 2 / 5 / 5[/p]
  • [p]Fully Rested + /++: now reduces 50 / 60% instead of 60 / 75% damage[/p]
  • [p]Thick Skin++: now blocks Cut damage instead of Poison[/p]
[h3]Skill Updates[/h3]
  • [p]Detonate: power increased from 130 to 135 and accuracy from 85 to 90[/p]
  • [p]Frantic Mask: no longer always goes last[/p]
  • [p]Mud Ball: power increased from 50 to 75, SP cost increased from 4 to 6[/p]
  • [p]Ghastly Nap: now lowers Evasion instead of Accuracy[/p]
  • [p]Horror Mask: health cost decreased from 25% to 15%[/p]
  • [p]Frigid Barrier: now always goes first[/p]
  • [p]Cloud Burst: now lowers Evasion instead of Accuracy[/p]
  • [p]Cloud Burst: power increased to 55, accuracy increased to 100[/p]
  • [p]Power Nap: now applies Curse instead of Drowsy[/p]
  • [p]Frost Feathers: now does physical damage and makes contact[/p]
  • [p]Shared Fate and Final Gift now fail when used consecutively[/p]
  • [p]Iceberg Sweep now always goes last[/p]
