Version 1.103 is LIVE!

Version 1.103 is LIVE! Restart Steam to receive the changes immediately.


  • ADDED | 3 New enemies have been added to the game world.
  • ADDED | 4 new scans have been added to the Scans Menu.
  • ADDED | Late game Fast Travel Mechanic implemented.
  • ADDED | Gamepad Notification Prompt for SteamDeck.

  • ADJUSTMENT | A few level design adjustments have been made to encompass the new enemies.
  • ADJUSTMENT | Gamepad detection code has received a few tweaks to streamline the gamepad detection process.
  • ADJUSTMENT | Master Blaster Mod (Pre-Chip) has received a few adjustments. The cost to upgrade has increased from 25 to 50.
  • ADJUSTMENT | Super Mod slight alterations to Damage variation.
  • ADJUSTMENT | Removed the extra "????" in the Missions Menu.

  • FIXED | Solid Swine cosmetic left the bands floating in the air when unequipped.
  • FIXED | Accidently removed an expression that prevents decimal numbers from showing for the Scans % value. This could result in showing a very large number. (infinity %)
  • FIXED | Bladder Boss (Tract Maw) would sometimes stop attacking.
  • FIXED | Bit Mod did not gain Atomic Energy from shooting enemies.
  • FIXED | Koble boss would sometimes move below the layout in the Training Area.
  • FIXED | Rush Enzymes could be used to fly through Orange Crystal Walls.
  • FIXED | Pause Menu (Gamepad) did not display the Tablet Menu and Overdrive Systems in the correct locations.
  • FIXED | When landing in an electrical pit at a very specific spot in one of the lower right lung rooms, the player could get soft locked.
  • FIXED | Pig of Many Hats achievement would fire off 1 hat sooner than it should have.
  • FIXED | Loading into your file after Scanning and defeating the final boss will now keep them in your Scans page.
  • FIXED | SFX % in Pause menu would often display as "Text".

Version 1.102 is LIVE! Restart Steam to receive the changes immediately.

  • ADDED | Additional background story telling.

  • ADJUSTMENT | Gionomas trigger collisions.
  • ADJUSTMENT | Changes made to Gamepad detection system. My hope is that this will allow any controller plugged in to immediately function. No need for it to be P1.

  • FIXED | A transition point in the lungs would lead to black screen.
  • FIXED | Phlegm's Icon would not disappear after rescuing him.
  • FIXED | Prevented a boss from softlocking the player by not dropping a key item if the player faints just as a boss is defeated while the screen is fading out.
  • FIXED | Duplication Glitch
  • FIXED | Squaggle enemies were not scannable in a few rooms.
  • FIXED | Injection Zone next to Broncore would only register and stay on map when visiting the town instead of when first entering room.
  • FIXED | Heart Clue rooms on the map were not visually functioning as intended. The changes I made will effect new players mainly unless current players that have gotten past this part revisit the clue rooms.

  • FIXED | Sometimes trying to perform a jump immediately after a dash would not register.

  • FIXED | Gionoma and Floculops bosses did not have their flags set correctly for the "I'm the Boss" achievement. The only saving grace for those who have killed these two bosses before this patch went live is if you are also doing the "High Risk Surgery" achievement since I am able to track if the player still has the High Risk achievement active. All you need to do is walk into Gionoma and Floculop's rooms to trigger their flags on. If you do not have the "High Risk Surgery" achievement active then at this time it will require a reset. Apologies for this.

ADDED | Notification for Steam Deck users on boot up.

FIXED | DiroCore would not spawn its DNA after defeating it.
FIXED | Gumbo NPC Icon was floating off in space after rescuing him.
FIXED| Lung NPC icons to map.
FIXED | Achievement "Passing the Torch" did not trigger after a certain point in the game.
FIXED | Ecologist Achievement would trigger prematurely. Hoping the change I made on the backend corrects this.

Version 1.09 is LIVE!

  • Version 1.09 is LIVE! Restart Steam to receive the changes immediately.

  • ADDED | Gamepad detection now displays the name of the controller that is acting as player one. This should help players understand which device has taken over when their gamepad is not working. Our engine is looking for the primary controller. If your gamepad is not the only controller plugged in, the game may not recognize it as the primary gamepad and your inputs will not be registered since its looking for the primary gamepads inputs only.

  • ADDED| Lung NPC icons to map.

  • ADDED | If the player saved while a notification was popping on the screen the game would crash. I've now added in measurements to prevent notifications from popping up while near save stations.

  • FIXED | Cell Tower Nerve Strands collision may have had their collisions disabled depending on when you entered or left the room.

  • FIXED | Some unexpected duplicate Rese/Respawn locations were located outside of the layout.
