Friday Progress Report 267

I have added Sweet potato and Spinach for a total of 31 crops (33 if you count the ornamental flowers and clovers), and I will now switch my focus to planning the return of the Faerie Village, this is a feature we had planned for later, but since my brother will be the one implementing the AI I won’t have much to do until he is done, so I either make more crops or do something else, since we have enough crops for now, so I thought adding a new feature would be better.

The Faerie Village would probably add a lot of gameplay since it was a self-contained minigame, and now it can be integrated with other features like farming, getting the faeries to help with watering and harvests

While I plan the return of the faeries my brother is adding a new feature for helping new players, a help screen that changes based on context, it will give tips and instructions based on which UI is open and the game state.

Also we now have more item drop feedback, dropped items go towards the player (just visually, to make sure it doesn’t bug out the items still enter the player inventory instantly)
