Reworked how the UI works so particles can draw over it
Improved the fishing UI visuals and feedback

Fixed the now-cosmetic-cart giving water like a well
Fixed some textures being one-side and not drawing on the other side
Fixed a hidden feature that happens during midnight on specific days not working properly

[p]We are still testing, fixing bugs and doing little improvements[/p][p]There are a few improvements on feedback during fishing, some stuff not drawing correctly and many minor adjustments we actually forgot to put in the changelog...[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Since we want to replace the old UI with the new model and doing all at once would take too long we managed to merge both temporarily in a single model so we can replace parts little by little... but this caused a TON of issues, so we spent the whole week finding and squashing new bugs.[/p][p]We should have caught the last few bugs, so the patch should come out tonight, or tomorrow in the worst case.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]

Friday Progress Report 428

[p]The new tutorial interacts with the NPCs, so we are using the opportunity to improve the talk scene, we are adding more support for conditions changing texts, choices, text history and such.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]We have prepared a small video clip for each tutorial stage and will add support for the game to display them next, so the tutorial pages are less text and more image.[/p][p][/p][p]Small report for this week, most of what we are working on is groundwork for bigger features, we also have a good amount of bugfixes ready, but we need to fix the talk scene modifications to not break anything on release.[/p][p][/p][p]Maybe bugfix patch next week.[/p]

[p]Since the new tutorial is focused on the NPCs we improved the guide particles and made the NPCs silhouettes visible through the walls.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]75% of the tutorial videos are done, my brother is working on improvements on the talk scene, adding features like a chat log to go back and read what NPCs said before, choices so you will finally be able to say something, showing images, more conditionals for the talk events and other lesser features.[/p][p][/p][p]While working on this we also found a few more bugs, so we will probably release a new patch soon with several small fixes, but no actual real features because they are not done yet.[/p][p][/p][p]Its a short report this week, see you next Friday.[/p]

Friday Progress Report 426

[p][/p][p]We planned all the updates up to the end of early access, we won't be able to make it all the way to v1.0 because we still have way too many features to implement, so we will quit early access on v0.85.[/p][p][/p][p]What effect will this have on the players?[/p][p]Nothing will change for you guys. We will keep developing after v0.85 as usual, there will be no price increases until at least after v1.0. Also there will be no paid DLC until all features we promised have been delivered. (we don't like the idea of paid DLC to begin with)[/p][p][/p][p]Why are you making this change?[/p][p]We think being in early access for so long is hurting our visibility on Steam, also by v0.85 I would say the game will be worth its price and can be judged for its contents even if it is technically incomplete. Right now the game is selling so bad we only receive a paycheck from Steam every 2~3 months because the money is not hitting the minimum amount required to send a payment.[/p][p][/p][p]Will there be more polls?[/p][p]Yes, v0.83 is divided in 4 main features, and the order we implement them will be up to community votes, same for the 2 main features of v0.85. Also after we leave early access there will be a very large list of features we will be putting up to vote.[/p][p][/p][p]If you guys have any questions on the planned features feel free to ask away.[/p]
