SEP 28 Hotfix

  1. Fixed the issue that AI allies may stuck when restarting tutorial levels.
  2. Adjusted fire arrows’ dispersion area to make it more consistent with skill pointer.
  3. Adjusted the F2 and F3 hit stick pointer’s scale velocity.
  4. Fixed the conflict between hit stick and construction commands by F2 and F3.
  5. Fixed the issue that battering ram cannot attack wall cross sections.

  • Added a new Encounter map, Defenders and Attackers
  • Added chat function in Multiplayer room
  • The right mouse controls the movement of ranged troops. Click the right mouse on enemies wouldn’t cause the ranged troops to spread out
  • Siege Tower can pass slopes now
  • Fixed the issue that different players can construct at the same spot
  • Fixed the issue that sometimes the game stuck when exiting from multiplayer rooms
  • Added victory and failure conditions setting in Sandbox
  • Added 2-Group and 4-Group modes in Sandbox. Different groups of different teams have different colors
  • Added a function that a team can be configured as Player or AI

New Maps, Equipment, and skills! AUG 29 Update

Hello Commanders!

We are releasing some content updates and optimizations. Check it out now!

Updates for Default Version:

  • Revamped interfaces for recruit store and unit upgrade. Troops' stats and skills that can be upgraded or learned are shown now.
  • Added 4 new maps: Step by Step, Tainted Banners, Gain Advantage, Peaks and Hills.
  • Added new vehicle: Tent Wagon. Unfold the tent so troops can enter it to recover. When folded, it can be moved around.
  • Added new siege equipment: Tower Wagon. Tower Wagon can be pushed to city walls and be constructed. It allows Giants and Calvary to climb up the wall.
  • Added a new possession skill for Shieldmen commander: Rapid Pace. The commander lowers his shield to get speed +{0}%.
  • Added an advanced unit for Shieldmen: Vanguard. The upgraded units are equipped with new skills for greater mobility and fighting capability, Rapid March and Shield Wall Charge.
  • Added an advanced unit for Spearmen: Frontline Spearmen. The upgraded units are good at attacking from a long distance with the new skill, Spear Wall Charge.
  • Added an advanced unit for Lancer: Chinese Lancer. It is a heavy unit equipped with a Chinese long spear.
  • Upgraded the mechanism for construction. The construction will stop if there is no units within the construction grid.
  • Fixed an error that the buildings still hover in the air after the gate is destroyed.
  • Fixed an error that sometimes ladders below Watch Tower cannot be used.
  • Fixed a speed error for newly added units when Sprint is activated.
  • Fixed an error that sometimes possession mode cannot be exited when using Bandage.
  • Fixed a skill error for enemies in Fight for Supply.
  • Fixed an error that the construction cannot be stopped for disconnected players.
  • Fixed an error that sometimes AI bots get stuck in tents.
  • Fixed an error that Heavy Spearmen’s skill effect disappears after upgrading.
  • Fixed an error about undo operation in sandbox.
  • Fixed an error about BGM.
  • Fixed an error about category filter display in sandbox.
  • Fixed sandbox errors reported by players.
  • Improved attack damage slightly for Heavy Flailmen and movement speed for Camel.
  • Shock Troopers’ price: 1200->1000.

Special features from the latest update : AI in Sandbox and Play against Bots

- Now players can configure AI in Sandbox mode which would allow players create interesting levels/maps and wars with more logistic and more ways.



- In 13 maps, players will be able to add bots to war, like traditional RTS games, players now can try more strategy and ideas with opponent who would play with at anytime,



Level & Map Updates
  • New Update: Play against Bots. You can now engage in battles and experience the thrill of PvP gameplay against AI-controlled enemy teams. Challenge yourself in single-player encounters or team up with friends in online multiplayer matches to take on AI opponents together.
  • New Update: Resource Vehicle Capture.
  • New Update: 7 new Encounter Levels added.
  • New Update: 7 new Co-op maps added.
  • New Update: 14 new PVP maps added.

New Items & Skills
  • Added construction item: Arrow Tower.
  • Added construction item: Temporary Shop. With the Temporary Shop, you can purchase supplies on the frontline during battles.
  • Added a series of construction items that can change the terrain environment during battles: Camp Gate, Advanced Barricade, Watchtower. Use these items flexibly to freely construct frontline in the game.
  • Added consumable item: Tonic Capsule. It resets the number of soldier skills and cooldown time.




System updates and game optimizations:
  • Updated the menu UI for unit upgrades, adding slots for active skills and the ability to adjust their order. You can adjust them to update the shortcut keys for skills.
  • Updated the menu UI for the item shop. Now units can purchase up to 4 active items, and you can change the shortcut keys for item usage by adjusting their order in the slots.
  • Added the advanced action F6 to demolish your own buildings.
  • Updated the control method for Cavalry Possession.
  • Added chat function in multiplayer games. Press the "Enter" key to bring up the chat window. Press "Enter" again when the text input is empty to close it.
  • Updated the tent recovery mechanism. If not all soldiers of a squad enter the tent and the squad chooses to leave the tent, the units that did not enter the tent will maintain their current state without recovery.
  • Modified the tent recovery mechanism when the commander dies. When entering the tent, the commander will be the last unit to revive. If the squad leave the tent early, the commander will not immediately revive.
  • Added a mechanism where the speed of siege equipment decreases when the number of operators is not enough.
  • Besides the gate itself, the frame of the gate can now also be destroyed. You can now shatter both the walls and the main gate.
  • Numerous UI adjustments to accommodate 21:9 displays.
  • Numerous updates to battle effects.

Sandbox mode feature updates:
  • New Update: Sandbox Manual. You can find it in the top left corner of the sandbox interface. We have provided some basic explanations of the sandbox's features.
  • New Update: AI configuration features. You can configure richer AI behaviors for computer-controlled units.
  • New Update: Scene Data features. This includes Points, Paths, and Supervising Zones. These are necessary map information for configuring AI and enemy generators.
  • New Update: Enemy generators and related features. You can continuously create enemies after the game starts using enemy generators.
  • New Update: Building events. You can trigger AI switches for computer-controlled units using building events or trigger enemy generators. For example, creating defensive units inside the castle when the player breaks down the main gate, or having patrol units counter-attack when the player mounts ladders on the castle walls.
  • New Update: Recruitable NPCs, Advanced Training NPCs, Merchant NPCs for the squads. You can use them in sandbox games and encounter battles or PvP battles with upgradable units.
  • New Update: Selection Mode. You can select all objects on the map in this mode, quickly view and edit their properties.
  • New Update: Map Information Display Filter. You can use this feature to hide certain scene objects that may distract your view. This feature is especially useful when the map content is complex.
  • New Update: Map Size Adjustment. You can conveniently modify the map size while editing the terrain.
  • Expanded the map size to 36x36 grids. This is a very large size, and in most cases, you won't need to create such a large map. Also, please note that excessively large map sizes can impose a heavier burden on your CPU during AI pathfinding.
  • New Update: Adjusting building health percentage feature. You can use this feature to utilize the damaged models of buildings.
  • Expanded the number of teams to 8.
  • Added a large number of terrain assets.
  • Added a large number of unit equipment assets.
  • Added experience drop and gold drop attributes to the unit editing feature. If you configure these attributes for a unit, the killing force will automatically receive gold and experience for leveling up when that unit is killed.
  • Polished many interactive processes.
  • Fixed numerous issues discovered during testing.

Updates for Default Version:
  • 3 maps updated: Armed & Ready, Biding Time, and At the Gates. Added new enemies in these maps to make it more entertaining
  • Added 2 mini PvP maps: Path of Arrows, and Midwood Trail
  • Added animations for big tent
  • Fixed the issue that tent becomes unavailable after players disconnect the game
  • In multiplayer games, allies’ recovery progress in tent is visible now
  • Tent mechanism updated: if you click cancel before all every unit of your troop enters the tent, units that don’t get into the tent will not receive recovery
  • Tent mechanism updated: if your troop enters the tent with commander perished, the commander will be the last unit to respawn
  • Troop units under the command of “Stand Guard” don’t follow the commander in possession mode
  • Multiplayer lobby exhibits games’ “ongoing” status


Updates for test branch (daily_build):
  • Bot mode. Added Bot mode in Encounter (previously known as Challenge). Now there are 11 maps that allow you to challenge AI players
  • Sandbox’s new features. Added AI configuration and Enemy Generator, and expanded the map size to. More features are to come in next weeks
  • New scoreboard in PvP games. The scoreboard will show statistics of both sides and highlight the best players


How to access test branch(daily_build)?



Go to your Steam Library, right-click the game and select 'Properties'. Click on the 'BETAS' tab and from the drop-down menu select “daily_build”.

(To switch back to default version, just follow the same procedure and choose None)

Please note that daily_build version is to test new features and may be unstable.
