Patch 5 Notes



Hello,

There was a slight delay in the release of Kenin and Pliskova; these two players will be released at a later date. However, we still wanted to push out the patch that was planned to release alongside these players; this includes some changes designed to improve doubles and net play. Let us know what you think of these changes.

  • Added rematch option for exhibition mode matches.
  • Added "No Input" feedback for shots played without input.
  • Added more audio settings.

  • Tuned second serve accuracy on max power serves.
  • Tuned grunts on slice shots.
  • Improved doubles.

  • Increased XP rewards for lower tier career matches.
  • Appropriate animation chosen for drop shots.
  • Corrected occasional “This Is Mine Trophy/Achievement” issue.
  • Corrected camera switching in local multiplayer.

First Two Annual Pass Players Revealed

We're excited to reveal the first two Annual Pass additions. Sofia Kenin and Karolína Plíšková will represent the WTA in Tennis World Tour 2.

These two players are a part of the annual pass and will release alongside a patch the includes several community requested fixes, including improvements to net play, gameplay in the doubles mode, and more.

We'll follow up with more details about when this will go live in Tennis World Tour 2 shortly.



Patch 1.04 Notes

Apologies for the delay in publishing the notes, we'll be sure to publish alongside the update next time.

Our first patch was aimed at addressing a few bugs and feedback from players, including the highly requested option to disable skill cards. We're already at work on the next patch, so we'll be back soon.

Tennis World Tour 2 Out Now - Early Bird Discount Available!

Tennis World Tour 2 is now available on Steam! Play as the top ATP and WTA athletes, or create your own, dominate singles or doubles, local or online play, and climb to Rank 1. Additionally, there are savings to be had if you pick up the game before October 1st.



There are two editions of Tennis World Tour 2. The base version includes 36 players, career and online modes, and everything you'd expect from a top tier Tennis game.

The Ace Edition includes everything above as well as the official tournaments and stadia pack, and the annual pass, a suite of continued updates and new content to TWT2 (including new official players). Annual Pass updates will be released alongside updates and improvements to all versions of the game.



The Official Tournaments and Stadium Pack includes, and can be purchased separately:
  • The Roland-Garros tournament with the Philippe-Chatrier, Suzanne-Lenglen, and Simonne-Mathieu stadiums
  • The main court of the Madrid Open, the Estadio Manolo Santana
  • The main court of the Halle Open, the OWL ARENA
  • The Tie Break Tens tournament

Additionally, since pre-orders were not available for the Steam version of Tennis World Tour, we have made the pre-order DLC (the legendary players Gustavo Kuerten and Marat Safin) available as a free download on Steam. The Legends Pack will go live on September 24th, 5 pm CEST and you'll have until Oct 7, 4:59 pm CEST to download these players free of charge.
