We've once again rolled out a new update to resolve issues our players were experiencing.



Previously, players were facing problems with setting the close caption language used, as it would not update along with their Steam language. To resolve this, we've added a new option under Options->Audio to select your language on the fly, without requiring a Steam or game reboot.

Players also reported the text "A.I. Disabled" appearing on their screens and not disappearing for the rest of the session. This text has been removed entirely.

Hi everyone, we hope you've been enjoying the game. Tonight, we've rolled out a new patch that addresses the following issues:

• Previously, certain lighting effects would cause performance issues for most players. These effects were broken and have since been removed, resulting in a performance benefit.
  
• When zooming, you were previously able to sometimes see the weapon model render in the top left. This is now resolved.
  
• We were made aware of a translation error in some Russian text pertaining to the wrong usage of the word "drill" in "this is not a drill". This has been fixed.
  
• Previously, a nearly irreproducible bug would occur which would turn all models in the game a shade of white and break certain effects in view. We determined this was due to extra damage effects, and as such they have been removed, resolving the issue.
  
• Note: For aspects of this update to take effect, you may need to reset your config to the default config. This can be done in the options menu.

Previously, a subset of our players were experiencing crashes on level load which would result in the following error:

Engine Error:
Invalid map lighting type loaded!
Contact a dev ASAP!

As of this update, this issue has been resolved.

Certain users were also having problems related to video playback during the intro bootup. This update resolves those issues.

If after this patch, you continue to experience the aforementioned issues or find new ones, please let us know so that we can address them as soon as possible.
