Balance update and "playtest season 0" winners!
If you have never passed the playtest version of Despot's Game - you may skip this news and go play! Or wait to be given access ;) Playtest is not closed, it will last until February 2 when the Steam Game Festival starts, which we will participate in. Then anyone will be able to play the Despot's Game demo for a whole week!

of the "0 playtest season" is tata_live! They took 3 positions in the leaderboard and killed the octoboss 10 times! The second place is taken by Desist, and the third place by fuchs080! This is not a contest with prizes, but we decided to give each of the winners a key for Despotism 3k, so that they can either activate it themselves, if they haven't played yet, or give it to one of their friends.
We also want to thank Wolzly, Nyek, Boshed and others who beat the octoboss many times! We are very glad that even an early version of the game got some players so excited.

The main thing I would like to say right away: the release version will have a lot more content and a different rating system in multiplayer.

List of balance changes:
- Decreased Tentacle’s physical size: it is getting stuck less
- Increased Tanks’ HP by 30%
- Increased the HP of Fighters by 50%
- Slightly increased Fencers’ HP
- Lightsaber is now of higher quality (cannot be found in a level 1 shop)
- Reduced the price of the "Plague Mask"
- Eggheads: nerfed the Emitter. It has less health at all levels, buffs/debuffs for attack and attack speed are weaker, the duration of the buffs/debuffs is shorter at level 2 and 3 of the ability
- Throwers: Greatly increased the damage of Bomb ability (30/100 -> 50/180)
- Mages: nerfed damage from Thunderbolt level 2 (1000 -> 700)
- Shooters: nerfed Attack Speed Aura level 2 (50% -> 40%)
- Evasion mutations (from the altar) nerfed: 30/60% -> 20/40%
- Mana Burn, Fury and Vampirism mutations are no longer dropped for Medics and Cultists
- Fast Reload mutation nerfed: 1.5-> 1.3
- Weighed Dice mutation nerfed: 1.5-> 1.3
- Super Punch can be dropped for a limited list of classes
- Splash can be dropped for a limited list of classes
Mutations tree: - Swordsmen Vampirism nerfed: 20/50/100% -> 5/10/30%
- Medics' Evasion nerfed: 40/60% -> 30/50% and level 2 now costs 15 tokens
- Tentacle armor bonus buffed: 15/25/40 -> 20/35/60
