Steam Trading Cards, Badges, and Rewards

Hear ye, hear ye!

I've just added Steam Trading Cards to 1428: Shadows over Silesia! If you like to customize your profile, collect badges, or just have something from your favorite game outside of the actual gameplay, this might put a smile on your face.

Steam Trading Cards are earned through gameplay and can be used to create badges – five tiers of chalices styled after the game, ranging from simple wooden ones to richly decorated metal and gold ones.

Along with this, you can unlock rewards for your Steam profile:
  • I’ve prepared four new profile backgrounds, inspired by the game’s environment and graphic style, with a darker atmosphere.
  • There are also 10 emoticons available – ranging from heraldic symbols to items you know from the game.

If you're an avid collector or just enjoy customizing your Steam profile, you can now bring a piece of Silesia from 1428 to your profile. And if that’s not your thing – the game remains, of course, exactly the same.

Thanks for playing!

Chinese community translation

Hear ye, hear ye!

I am delighted to finally announce that with the latest update, a Simplified Chinese translation has made its way into the game! Thanks to the dedication and hard work of the °Know Team, players from China and beyond can now experience the adventure in their native language.

As with all community translations, this is a passion-driven effort—meaning there’s always room for improvement. If you spot any errors or have suggestions for refinements, join us on Discord and help make the translation even better. Every helping hand is welcome!

At the moment, the Simplified Chinese translation is only available for the base game. Unfortunately, the DLC is not translated yet, but I hope they can bring it to you in the future!

Thank you for your continued support!

Polish community translation

Hear ye, hear ye!

I am delighted to finally announce that with the latest update, a Polish translation has made its way into the game! One of our community members, Hyssopus, took on this formidable task like a true hero and translated the entire game. All travelers from Poland and Silesia are now invited to join and experience the adventure in the language they know best.

As with all community translations, this is an amateur effort at heart—meaning there’s always room for improvement. If your eyes are sharp and your mind keen, join us on Discord and help refine every word. There’s always a place for those willing to lend a hand.

Thank you for your continued support—spread the word!
