  • An error occurred while loading settings and corrupted the gamepad settings and some other
  • New recipe for green potion - now no longer with alcohol
  • Message about health replenishment after consuming red potion did not appear
  • NPC enemies are better able to navigate and react to approaching danger from other NPCs
  • Unplayable Hynek reacted poorly to enemies and did little to engage in combat
  • Improved NPC rotations again
  • Enemies will now raise an alarm if they see a corpse
  • Fixed animations flickering on corpses or sitting characters when they first come on screen
  • Death animation sometimes played for dead characters when they first appeared on screen

Czech Game of the Year Award

On 10 December, the 13th annual award ceremony for the developers of the best Czech games took place. This time in a double edition for 2022 and 2023.

🏆 I’m deeply honored and humbled to share that 1428: Shadows over Silesia has been awarded Czech Game of the Year 2022🏆!

This recognition is especially meaningful in a year filled with so many incredible Czech games. It’s inspiring to see how much amazing talent we have in our country, and I’m proud to be part of such a creative and passionate community.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who played, supported, and believed in this project—it means the world to me. 💙

    • Slightly improved gypsy animations
    • Sometimes the gypsy didn't remember that the player had already been to her for fortune-telling

      • The feast no longer has a looping debate
      • Some people on the tourney grounds were standing in the middle of the fence
      • If a player won a minnesinger competition, sometimes the entrance to the castle didn't open right away

  • Fixed animations of some villagers to better match walking speed
  • Chickens sometimes appeared too small or too big
  • Hell Knight and Devil were leaving behind equipment on the ground that was supposed to go to hell with them
  • The non-playable Lothar and Hynek would no longer block the path and could be pushed away

    • Fixed an error in the text of the interaction with Straw
    • Added a marker to the letter at the messanger camp
    • If the monks are off screen in the city, they won't sing
    • Increased the speed of monks off screen
    • Guards in town sometimes did not respond to player's disclosure after the interview or responded late
    • Lothar could sometimes turn his back during the cutscene of entering the duke's chambers
  • Chapter 10 - Lothar now automatically dismounts from his horse to prevent the player from blocking the door

    • In the final cutscene in the messenger camp, Hynek had his legs through the wagon
    • Reduced the range of the guards in Monsterberg
    • Enlarged the area around the monks in Monsterberg
    • The monks in Monsterberg now move faster when they're invisible, so the player doesn't have to wait long for them
    • In Monsterberg Castle, it looked like the player could still hide in a group of monks, which was not true
    • Significantly increased the damage Lilith can deal
    • Lilith would sometimes turn in a different direction when attacking
    • John of Monsterberg would not sneak when player fought Lilith
    • When escaping the castle, guards can now be pushed away
    • Door to the Duke's chamber opened without animation after the cutscene
  • Chapter 9 - Fire leaks through the cauldron

    • Accessibility - Navigation led to a location from where the barrel in the dungeon could not be used on day 5
