Pendula Swing - The Complete Journey News

We all contemplate a summer unlike any other, and it feels eerie that some things still go on as normal. Like the always much anticipated summer sales and offers, which hopefully will keep you safely entertained in this extra special year.



We gladly inform you that Pendula Swing: The Complete Journey is part of the MIDBOSS / SUMMER OF PRIDE 2020. The Summer of Pride is a month-long event of LGBTQIA+ streamers playing queer games, throughout the month of June. These fun “gaymers” will be playing some of the best and most unique games that showcase positive representation of queer characters and stories - like Pendula Swing, yay!

To celebrate Summer of Pride 2020, there is an ongoing sale on queer-positive games, that will be available via the Chrono.gg storefront and on Steam from June 9-25. You can find Pendula Swing on both these storefronts with a discount of 40%.

• There have been issues with item getting lost when you receive one with a full inventory. This should be fixed now. Please let us know if it still happens!
  
• The VIP guard at the Immigration Checkpoint used to have amnesia, and would not let you get into town a second time. We're happy to announce that she's now fully recovered, and should no longer insist on standing in your way.
  
• The issue with you not being able to finish the game if you left the area during the final part has been addressed and should be fixed. Again, let us know if anything is still bothering you about it!
  
• We've had issues with the dialogue with Jeff Wings - if you ask him about his brother, it could make you unable to ask him about the package that was delivered. While we respect his right to determine the topic of discussion, we've fixed some bugs with the dialogue and thereby hopefully made him a more cooperative goblin.
  
• We've had a report of a player being unable to give a permit to the goblin protester. While we weren't able to fully see why it happened, we've streamlined the dialogue a bit to hopefully fix it.
  

As we promised last week, Pendula Swing: The Complete Journey is now 25% off! Spring is definitely here, luring us all out in the open to enjoy the sun and the freshly bloomed nature! But this year in particular, this must be done with caution. We have been meaning to discount Pendula Swing since we've all been confined to our homes, but because we just launched it, we were unable to do so... until now!

The literary artworks submitted by you, awesome adventurers, have now been published in Pendula Swing: The Complete Journey! Take a stroll in the Academic District and spend some relaxing time in the library. If you have any favorite story, let us know!

With this update, we also took the occasion to fix a few bugs reported by you - thank you So Much for your reports and help! Specifically, we looked into the conversation with Jeff Wings, whee some of you got stuck. He will no longer refuse to talk to you if you start by inquiring about his brother. We also made sure that you cannot get stuck in the Immigration Checkpoint.

We had a cosy Pendula Swing: The Complete Journey launch this Sunday - stay tuned for the video footage from our very long YouTube stream! For the very first time, we also broadcasted on Steam officially as devs and we were very happily surprised by the amount of adventurers interested in watching us play!

So, we decided to turn this into a habit. We will be broadcasting from the Valiant offices, every other week on Tuesday, between 4pm to 5pm our time (Stockholm, which is GMT+2; 4pm in Stockholm is 8am in San Francisco, but take that with a grain of salt because it is Laura here who's writing this, and I am a timezone disaster).

Today we took the time to arrange our setup so next time we broadcast officially here, you will also be able to see and hear us. We have even made it so our official broadcasts appear officially on our official page! We do have hedgehog onesies that we use at the office and sometimes even when we are on stage, which we may be using....*



The fact that we broadcast officially every other Tuesday doesn't mean that we won't be broadcasting unofficially at random other times. But what an official broadcast means to us is something with a theme. Next Tuesday, we will be gathering a lot of pets in Pendula Swing: The Complete Journey - and we will talk a lot about pets in general, both in game and real life. We might even show you pictures with our real life cats!
