We just wanted to jump on here and let you know that you have been heard – there were issues with the Simplified Chinese localisation that needed fixing.

Thank you for flagging these errors and leaving feedback. We’ve since had the Simplified Chinese proof read, and it should now read smoothly and make more sense!

The updated translations are part of the latest patch, and come alongside bug fixes and fixed Air Dash mechanic.

We want everyone to be able to enjoy Gestalt: Steam & Cinder, and we hope this improved translation allows you to experience our game as it should be played.

Metamorphosis Games

A patch for Gestalt: Steam and Cinder has been released and includes the following changes and fixes.

Features

• Added a fast forward feature for all cutscenes and dialogues in the game.
  
• Replaced pixel font for a system font for Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese to improve readability.
  

Bug Fixes

• Fixed various Simplified Chinese translation issues.
  
• Fixed an issue so health and healing flasks now correctly resets when respawning or loading at a tether.
  
• Fixed an issue where dropped items could get stuck in the ceiling.
