Welcome, virtual anglers, to Professional Fishing 2!



We are thrilled to announce a major update introducing the long-awaited multiplayer mode! From now on, you can enjoy the game together with other anglers or friends.

[h2]Multiplayer Mode (Beta)[/h2]
This is the first version of the multiplayer mode, so some issues and bugs may still occur. We kindly ask for your understanding and encourage you to report any difficulties or errors you encounter during gameplay.

How to start multiplayer mode?

  1. Select the "Multiplayer" option from the main menu.
  2. Find a room you'd like to join and select it from the list.
  3. Each room has its own weather conditions and time settings. In the demo version, there are 30 rooms available, with a maximum of 10 players per room.




After joining a room, you can start playing together with other players in the same room.

  • Visibility of other players in the game.
  • The ability to communicate with other players using the "Face-to-Face Communicator" feature.
  • Shared use of available boats at the location with another player.

  • Adding the option for shared fishing duels.
  • Organizing local fishing tournaments.
  • The ability to travel together in vehicles such as ferries, cars, trains, buses, and more.
  • Transferring gear and accessories to other players.
  • Introducing a smartphone and social media applications in the game.

Boats System

In this update, a fishing boat has been added. The boat can be found at one of the available fishing spots. In the main menu, Help / How to Play -> How to Play, a help section has been added to explain how to operate the boat. You can now freely explore the entire Forest Lake.

Fixes and Changes

  • Redesigned rod holder mechanics. Added keyboard support with the default shortcut Shift+1, 2, 3, allowing you to place a rod in the selected holder slot. Added the ability to rebind keys.

  • Updated the Help -> How to Play section with instructions for using rod holders and the groundbaiting system.

  • Added buttons on accessory icons to allow the removal of nets, rod holders, and bite indicators.

  • Introduced the ability to rotate the rod holder and net during placement.

  • Added the groundbaiting system.

  • Introduced the bait slingshot to the store.

  • Fixed a bug causing the lines of other rods on the holder to tighten while casting one of the rods.

Fixes and Changes

- Fixed a critical bug occurring when adding a fish to the net after picking it up from the ground.

- Fixed a critical bug in first-person view when adding a fish to the net without holding a rod.

- Fixed an issue with detaching other elements of a setup when removing an item that is part of the setup.

- Added the ability to close item information windows in the inventory and setup view using the ESC key.

- Added an option to purchase basic items for free if you don’t have a specific type in your inventory or setup. Now, if you remove or destroy your only rod and don’t have funds to buy a new one, you can get one for free.

- Added a counter in the fishing store showing the number of items currently equipped in fishing setups.

- Improved the animation of the PFE Harami reel.
