Utopia Colony has got an update!

The difficulty level to progress in the story has been a bit high in earlier versions. Many users have had a difficult time with progressing through the story in the game. We have reduced the difficulty level, so that it will now be easier to progress in the game. The game play has also been improved. We have removed several bugs that we have found in our testing process. We hope you come to Mars!

Utopia Colony has got an update!

We have updated Utopia Colony to include a solar flare event. Solar flare events are dangerous on Mars due to the thin atmosphere. The radiation levels on the surface will become too high for people, and it is necessary to find shelter underground. When the solar flare event occurs in the game, you have to go to the Rua 51 underground mine and stay there until surface radiation levels normalize. At Rua 51 there is additional game play that you can engage in while waiting for the solar flare event to pass. We have added more resources. Voice acting has been improved. We hope you come to Mars!

Utopia Colony has got an update!

Utopia Colony has now been updated to include dust storms. Be especially careful when you venture far out by foot. A dust storm can appear when you least expect it, and can be very disorienting. If you loose your way in a dust storm, you run the risk of running out of oxygen. We have added more resources in remote places. When roaming Utopia Planitia, you will now find resources in far away places. Voice acting has also been improved, so that there is more variation in the voice dialogues. Look around and you will also see many small improvements and details after this update. Hope to see you on Mars!

Utopia Colony has got a major update!

Finally it is here! We published today our second Early Access release of Utopia Colony. We use a new terrain that is easier to traverse by foot and rover. The terrain is 7x larger than before, so feel free to roam in the rover! We replaced the main character. The previous character was a bit too army for a Mars game, so we replaced it with a female astronaut that we feel is much more appropriate for the game setting. We have added more things you can deploy. You can now use extractors to extract water, hydrocarbon, and deuterium ore. We have also added voice acting, and many new details. We hope you join us on Mars!
