[h2]What are you thankful for during the Festive Feast Event?[/h2]



Through the second half of November, we’re taking some time to be thankful in our most delicious seasonal event, The Festive Feast! Running from 16th November - 30th November, celebrate the harvest season with a festival of feasting and thankfulness and a whole host of seasonal goodies in Paper Pirates!

During The Festive Feast, Sam Sherbot and Nat O’Bother have some new customisation options available to unlock in the Shop Ship! If you buy a customisation option during Festive Feast, you can use it all year round - but the items will be disappearing from sale when the event is over, so don’t delay and buy today!

Additionally, during The Festive Feast pirates will be able to wear a unique hat - The Gobbler is available to everyone in voyages started during the event. Once the event’s over, the hat will disappear from your collection until next year, so be sure to complete your turkey outfit while you can!

[h2]Wish on a Wishbone![/h2]



Go on a sailing adventure during The Festive Feast, and your crew will have the chance to partake in the time-honoured ritual of wishing on a wishbone. During the Event phase of the game, the Wish on a Wishbone event may activate for the duration of The Festive Feast, offering two randomly chosen pirates the opportunity to wish for an event to occur. Which of the pirates will pull the larger half of the wishbone and have their wishes granted…? That’s all part of the fun of Wish on a Wishbone!

[h2]Festive Feast Bots[/h2]
Invite some bots into your game during The Festive Feast, and you may find some of the regular crew replaced with some particularly festive bots, out to celebrate Thanksgiving! They’ll only join your games during The Festive Feast, but each has their own personality and appearance for you to enjoy.

The Witch - promoted to a permanent Trait!
We've had an outpouring of love for our Haunted Seas seasonal trait, The Witch, from all areas of the Paper Pirates community. So much so that we've made the decision to make The Witch a permanent trait, available all year round!

New content for Día de Muertos
We've made some additions to our Day of the Dead seasonal celebration, full details can be found in the Día de Muertos seasonal celebration event page.

Bug Fixes

• A message questioning how all the treasure went overboard when there are no ghosts on board was accidentally displayed twice as part of the game end sequence.
  
• In rare circumstances, when The Wishful was played by a bot, it could cause the active trait timer to wait out its full duration when a decision was already made.
  
• All pirate templates with any of the Parrot hats would default back to the Scarlet colouration when re-entering a lobby. Your correct choice of Parrot should now be recorded!

In the first week of November, we’re honouring the spirits of the dead with our most spiritual seasonal event, Día de Muertos! Running from 1st November - 7th November, celebrating for a whole week to give everyone the chance to play!

[h2]Honour the Spirits![/h2]
Go on a sailing adventure during Día de Muertos, and your crew will have the chance to honour the spirits of the departed. During the Event phase of the game, the Honour the Spirits event may activate for the duration of Día de Muertos, offering a randomly chosen pirate hidden information relating to how many ghosts have been successfully cleansed from your game so far…

[h2]A Special Spiritual Bot[/h2]
Invite bots into your game during the Día de Muertos, and you may find one of the regular crew replaced with a special La Catrina-themed bot! She’ll only join your games during the Día de Muertos event, but she has her very own personality and appearance for you to enjoy.

[h2]Seasonal Trait: The Witch[/h2]
New to seasonal celebrations with Haunted Seas is the addition of a seasonal trait! Play a trait game during Haunted Seas, and one of the pirates may find themselves playing as The Witch.



The Witch has a well-stocked larder of ingredients with which to brew magic potions. On days when they don’t play in, they can choose any combination of two ingredients, and then will get to use that potion before the event for that day takes place! Once you’ve learnt a recipe, using the same two ingredients will yield the same results - so pay attention to what you’re mixing together if you want to play as the most skillful Witch you can.

[h2]Trick or Treat?[/h2]
Go on a sailing adventure during the Haunted Seas event, and the Halloween Spirits may appear to one of the crew. During the Event phase of the game, the Trick or Treat? event may activate for the duration of Haunted Seas, offering a randomly chosen pirate a choice. Will they take the easy option and choose a treat, or are they feeling brave and willing to risk a trick?

Invite some bots into your game during the Haunted Seas event, and you may find some of the regular crew replaced with new, super spooky Halloween-themed bots! They’ll only join your games during the Haunted Seas event, but each has their own dastardly personality and appearance for you to enjoy.
