[/p][p]The Wereghost is a new seasonal passive trait, available in all Trait and Traits+ games during Haunted Seas with at least six pirates. The Wereghost plays into the same energy as The Werewolf, in that their trait is governed by the moon. During Haunted Seas, odd numbered days have a crescent moon while even numbered days show a perilous full moon.[/p][p]The Wereghost's team is fixed by the lunar cycle. On odd numbered days, when the moon isn't full, The Wereghost is always on the human team. On even numbered days, however, when the moon is full, The Wereghost is always on the ghost team.[/p][p]The team of The Wereghost cannot be changed by any other means, but will continue to switch back and forth at the start of each day for the whole voyage.[/p][p]Which team will they choose to side with? How do they know they'll be on the right team when the voyage ends? A cunning Wereghost will want to make sure that the voyage ends exactly when they hope it will...[/p][p]The Wereghost is one of seven new traits coming to Paper Pirates! [h2]Grab a sausage and celebrate Oktoberfest![/h2][p]As we see out September, we’re celebrating the next Paper Pirates Seasonal Celebration, Oktoberfest on the Ocean! Running from 18th to 30th September, celebrating the end of the season with a shindig dedicated to pretzels, sausages, chicken dancing and more, with a whole host of seasonal goodies in Paper Pirates!

[/p][h2]Seasonal Trait: The Brewmaster[/h2][p]The Brewmaster is here, and they're ready to get the party started! When you have a Brewmaster aboard, they'll be asked to set the vibe of the ship during the first day. Whichever vibe they choose will mix up the Paper Pirates voting rules! There are a total of six vibes The Brewmaster can pick for the ship:[/p]

• [p]Aggressive Vibes - Grants each pirate one additional voting power [/p]
• [p]Chaotic Vibes - Instead of voting from Stowaway to Captain, the crew will vote in a randomised order each day[/p]
• [p]Commanding Vibes - Voting each day will follow 'Majority Rules', where each pirate has one voting power and the pirate with the most votes goes overboard[/p]
• [p]Determined Vibes - Removes the crew's ability to pass their vote[/p]
• [p]Energetic Vibes - If nobody has gone overboard after the Captain has voted, a second round of voting begins. Votes from the previous round carry forward[/p]
• [p]Secretive Vibes - When a pirate casts a vote, the crew will not see who they voted for [/p]

[p][/p][p]Every voyage, The Brewmaster will be given a random selection of four out of the six vibes to choose. Whichever vibe they pick will stay in effect for the rest of the voyage. However, each day The Brewmaster doesn't play in, they can choose to change up the vibe, and bring a new mood to the party. How will having The Brewmaster aboard change the way your crew votes people over? They’re available to everyone in voyages started during the event to finish off their Oktoberfest outfits. Once the event’s over, the hats will disappear from your collection until next year, so be sure to wear them while you can!

[/p][h2]The “Biggest Bratwurst” Event![/h2][p]Go on a sailing adventure during Oktoberfest on the Ocean, and any day when there’s a successful job there is a chance you may encounter the “Biggest Bratwurst” event! The pirates stop for a cook-out, each grabbing a sausage from the grill. Some of the sausages are much bigger than the others though, and everyone knows a pirate needs a full stomach to carry out the most important duties on the ship. The bigger your meal, the higher your rank on the ship! So watch out, if you pull a chipolata, you might end up as Stowaway!

[/p][p]The Biggest Bratwurst event is sure to mix things up amongst the crew, changing who’s next to each other and therefore who’s playing in for different groups of jobs together. Not only that, but if you’re playing a trait game, you might want to be extra careful of who ends up next to The Sensitive![/p][h2]Oktoberfest on the Ocean Bots[/h2][p]Invite bots into your game during Oktoberfest on the Ocean, and you may encounter any of four unique bots! Look out for Chicken Bot, Hans Botmann, Ida Botmann and Bot Dog, all of whom are eager to board your ship and throw you overboard! These bots will only join your games during Oktoberfest on the Ocean, so take the chance to meet them now before they chicken dance away for the rest of the year!

[/p][p]The Imitator is a new passive trait, available in all Trait and Traits+ games. At the start of the voyage, a randomly selected pirate is chosen to be the person that The Imitator is imitating.[/p][p]While they are imitating another pirate, whenever The Imitator's team is revealed - either through traits or events - it will actually reveal the team of the pirate they are imitating.[/p][p]The Imitator knows the identity of the pirate they are imitating, but crucially, they do not know which team they are on until it is revealed through a trait or an event. This means that The Imitator has no way of knowing whether they're going to show up as a human or a ghost when their team is checked.[/p][p]How will they work with the person they're imitating? Will they betray them with truths, betray them with lies, or form an honest pact to work together?[/p][p]The Imitator is one of seven new traits coming to Paper Pirates! More new traits will become available on the following schedule:[/p]

[/p][p]The Dutiful is a new active trait, available in all Trait and Traits+ games with at least six pirates. When The Dutiful doesn't play in, they can activate their trait, controlling which event shows up for that day. When they activate their trait, the day's event will always be the Crew's Duty event for whatever rank The Dutiful is at the time of the event.[/p][p]That means that their power allows them to force the following events:[/p]

• [p]Quartermaster: Demotion[/p]
• [p]Navigator: Plot a Course[/p]
• [p]Gunner: Conspiracy[/p]
• [p]Surgeon: Botch Job[/p]
• [p]Shipwright: Busywork[/p]

[p]After they've chosen to do this, The Dutiful will need to rest, and won't be able to use their trait for a minimum of three days. When the cooldown has expired, they'll be able to do it again, and there's no limit on the number of times they choose to activate their trait outside of the three day cooldown.[/p][p]The Dutiful might have a plan for an event they want to trigger, but they also need to be careful - if their rank changes before the event triggers, maybe through a sneaky Brawler, they'll get the event for their new rank instead...[/p][p]The Dutiful is one of seven new traits coming to Paper Pirates! [/p][p]The Soothsayer is a new passive trait, available in all Trait and Traits+ games with at least seven pirates. The Soothsayer has the power of divination, and their trait comes in handy when they've just been voted overboard - as long as they're on the human team, that is.[/p][p]We all know that when a human pirate is voted overboard, one of the pirates that voted for them will be chosen for a possession. When they're voted overboard, however, The Soothsayer knows exactly which pirate that is. They'll get a pop-up, and a message in their black spot, telling them which pirate was chosen to become a ghost when they were voted overboard.[/p][p]What The Soothsayer chooses to do with that information is, of course, up to them. They might use it to get out of stowaway - though think before you act, how do you know that person really is who they say they are?[/p][p]The Soothsayer is one of seven new traits coming to Paper Pirates!
