Weekly Progress Report #54 for Future Fragments

Nothing new to report here, for obvious reasons.[/h3]

[h2]GAMEPLAY[/h2]

Frouge has begun “hooking up” the True Final Boss fight to the main game.[/h3]

[h2]STORY[/h2]

I’ll be posting a running count from here on out so you’ve all got an idea of how many are left to write.
Remaining: 277 Cutscenes. No, that isn’t a typo. Yes, I believe they can be finished by Sept. 22nd.
Probably 90% of the work for cutscenes comes from the prep work; making sure cutscenes
properly connect continuity-wise to other scenes, researching info regarding science or other
real world things that appear in the cutscene, writing character “personality” sheets forconsistent
dialogue, designing parts of the map around each character, and a zillion other things.
The actual WRITING itself, when all that mountain of prep is done, is the easiest/fastest part.[/h3]

[h2]AUDIO[/h2]

Nothing new to report here; Wishful Simping is taking a week to deal with some IRL things.[/h3]

Weekly Progress Report #53 for Future Fragments

The art for all 12 Gold Databanks is done!
We've posted about half of them to the right (blurred per spoilers).[/h3]

[h2]GAMEPLAY[/h2]

All gameplay phases for the True Final Boss fight are now 99% complete, with only a bit of polish left.
Frouge is still finishing off those boss fight endings/entrances.[/h3]

[h2]STORY[/h2]

Work on the cutscenes is continuing.[/h3]

[h2]AUDIO[/h2]

Wishful Simping has mastered every song in the game except for Phase 4 songs for the TFB.
All SFX, save for a few, have been implemented for the True Final Boss fight.[/h3]

Weekly Progress Report #52 for Future Fragments

1 Gold Databank left to do, and then all the visuals will be done for the game![/h3]

[h2]GAMEPLAY[/h2]

Inputs for Phase 4 of the TFB have been implemented.
Frouge is working on "boss fight endings/entrances", and is done with cutscene options for NPCs.[/h3]

[h2]STORY[/h2]

NPC cutscene scripts are continuing to be finished and recorded.
As a side note, some non-NPC cutscene scripts have already been finished too.
There's still more to do, but it's just a lot simpler to say "NPC cutscene scripts" as the main focus.[/h3]

[h2]AUDIO[/h2]

Wishful Simping has went back to mastering.
SFX are being implemented for Phase 4 of the True Final Boss Battle by our second programmer.[/h3]

Weekly Progress Report #51 for Future Fragments

2 Gold Databanks left to do, and then all the visuals will be done for the game![/h3]

Inputs for Phase 4 of the TFB have begun implementation (as the visuals are in at a core level).
Frouge is almost done with cutscene options for NPCs, and is about to move onto boss fight endings.[/h3]

NPC cutscene scripts are continuing to be finished and recorded.[/h3]

Wishful Simping has went back to mastering.[/h3]

[h2]SPECIAL NOTE[/h2]

A few people have taken issue with how basic/simple the progress reports are. Mainly, they want to see art, more details, etc.
While we don't disagree with this, all the art we haven't shown is spoiler-heavy, and many people have requested not to be spoiled.
Additionally, we're trying to focus as much as possible on actual game progress, instead of spending a lot of time on public posts.
Hopefully, this clarifies why we've kept things so simple; we just want to get the game done ASAP is all.[/h3]

Weekly Progress Report #50 for Future Fragments

Crouching animation / functionality added to the "Stealth" area.
A few touchups to the visuals for the True Final Boss.[/h3]

Phase 4 (the last phase) of the True Final Boss Fight is still being worked on.
Frouge is still giving all remaining NPCs "cutscene options",[/h3]

[h2]STORY[/h2]

NPC cutscene scripts are continuing to be finished and recorded.[/h3]

[h2]AUDIO[/h2]

Wishful Simping has went back to mastering.
Lewd K. has completed practically all remaining sound effects for the game.[/h3]
