Major Update Announcement: 0.6
Hey friends,
At the beginning of May, we showed you new models of sights that will be added in the next update. Since then, we have worked hard to make the game better.
Initially, we did not plan to make this update so large, but it turned out that way.
Today we will tell you about these changes that are waiting for you in the global update - 0.6

Let's start with the main thing - the Loadout system in battle.
Now you will be able to change weapons, as well as configure modules directly in the game session. You no longer need to leave the server and go to the main menu to change your loadout.
You can just choose another weapon before deployment.

We have made 2 different interfaces for loadout: Compact and Full.
In the compact, you can quickly select any weapon from the inventory.
In this mode, you can also view the connected modules to the selected weapon.
Thus, it allows you to change the current weapon to another, so you can quickly change your playstyle. For example, you are using M16A4 and decide you want to start using a sniper, just select the M24. The attachments you had used last on the gun will automatically be equiped.

In full mode, you will get full customization of weapons and, in the future, your character.
At the moment, here you can choose another weapon and install any of the modules you have on the weapon.
This viewing mode will be improved in the future.

In the last major update, some weapon models were updated.
In update 0.6, we updated the rest of the weapon models. Now every weapon in the game has an improved model.
We will show you some of the new models now, and the rest at the release of the update.

Let's start with Glock. Last time we showed you the updated Glock 17 model.

But we have improved the model even more. So, look at the final result.

Colt 1911. This is the very first gun that every new player gets. And of course we had to improve it, because the first impressions of the game matter greatly.

AK74M. This versatile rifle has long required an upgrade to the model, finally we can show you an improved version of this weapon:

And the last updated model that we will show today is the Mk14 (formerly the M14) - everyone's favorite Marksman rifle. Just like the others, it got a greatly improved appearance:

These are not all the changes that are waiting for you in the 0.6 update
You will be able to see the full list of all changes at the time of the official release of the update.

About the release date: At the moment we don't have an exact date. We have already started closed testing.
If you want to take part in closed testing, take a look at our Patreon. In the near future, we will invite supporters from Patreon (level "+++" and higher) to a closed testing.
We also plan to conduct open public testing among all players. We will publish more news about it when we are ready.

Thank you all for your patience and support!
We'll see you on the battlefield.

Patch: 0.5.37.209

- Fixed: Collimator doesn't work for Glock;
- Possibly(!) Fixed: the bug that caused players to get the "Error Code: 5" when trying to enter a game. If it is still not fixed this patch will also allow us to collect more data on what could be causing the error;

The Future in Polygon: Ballistics
Hey, Friends!
Today we will tell you about the new game mechanics that will soon appear in the game.

At the moment, all weapons in the game use traces as bullets.
Not so long ago, we added a damage multiplier depending on the distance, which is calculated using the simple formula based on the distance to the enemy. But this does not allow you to fully immerse yourself in the gameplay. We want more realism!
That's why we started developing an advanced bullet system that uses the world's physical constants.

The new bullet technology will have ballistic indicators. Now you will have to do a pre-emption to hit the target at a long distance.
Of course, each caliber has unique aerodynamic data. And we did it! So, each bullet has its own mass, form factor, initial energy, diameter and other indicators that will affect the entire system.

In addition, new bullets can ricochet off some objects. And it's not just graphics! This is a real bullet, which will also cause damage if it hits the target after a ricochet. Now you don't have to see the enemy to kill him :)
Of course, we also took into account all the physical data and the probability and angle of the ricochet, and the residual energy varies depending on the material of the object, as well as the physical data of the bullet itself. So, if you hit the metal, there will be the highest probability of a ricochet, while if you hit the sand, there can be no ricochet.
This also takes into account the angle of the shot.

But that's not all.
So, new bullets can shoot through some objects, after which the bullet can also cause damage to the enemy.
And it also takes into account all physical indicators! So, a bullet with more mass and energy is able to penetrate thicker objects than a weaker bullet.
After departure, the bullet loses some of its energy.
And it also depends on the material of the object. For example, you can easily break through a wooden door, but it's not a fact that you will be able to do it with a metal door.

We really hope that the new game mechanics will bring more interest and realism to the gameplay. This should also simplify the game for beginners, and experienced players will be able to get more pleasure from hitting the target at a long distance. In the future, we will prepare for you a system of rewards and achievements that you will receive when killing opponents at a long distance. All players will be able to see what a cool sniper you are :)

Update: 0.5.37.207 - Improving the Metro map

- New: We've heard your feedback and have improved Metro significantly. There are now new exits out of the spawns on both sides of the map, as well as new and improved cover all over. We hope this improves the balance and overall feel of the map significantly;

- Changed: Lately, we have noticed the Glock has been significantly under performing on the battlefield. So after some careful deliberation, we have decided to give the Glock an ACOG as its default sight;
- Changed: Increased the vote kick amount to 10 at a full 32 player game;

-Improved: The blur of the camera when aiming down sights has been improved and optimized;
-Improved: Slightly lowered the camera when crouching to prevent head glitching.;
