Patch: 0.2.10.63

It's been a long time since the last update. And all this time, work was underway on a new update that fixes many problems with the game, as well as work on the performance of the game, improving stability and much more.
This update is a preparatory stage for a future global update, which you will learn about a little later ...

Work was done on all the internal code at once, which means that something could break in this update, which we noticed during the tests. Therefore, we ask you not to throw tomatoes if you see a new bug that was not there before. Please report this to any community of our game (Steam Community, Discord, Email) and we will try to help as soon as possible.

So, the description of the update.

Changed:
- The recoil of all weapons has been reduced by ~ 50%;
- The reload time of some weapons has been reduced by 10%;
- Reduced damage to arms and legs;
- The blast wave from the grenade, which you feel with the help of the "rocking" of the camera, now depends on the distance to the explosion;
- A reward for assisting a kill can be obtained within 7.5 seconds (previously 5 seconds);
- Now the character can shoot in the jump;
- Now, when you hit your character, you can see the effect of blood;
- The character now returns to aiming mode if it was interrupted by another action;
- Now, if the last player of a team leaves the match, then the opposing team is awarded a victory, regardless of the game points scored;
- Temporarily frozen the ability to create games from a third person;

Fixed:
- Fixed a bug that occurs when the user is authorized (entering the game);
- Shaking the camera while recharging has become less intense (previously caused nausea for the user ːsteammockingː);

We're now starting work on a major update that will finally add squads of players, redesign servers for smoother gameplay, and add new weapons and more.

Update 0.2.9.62: Animations

We are continuing to work on animations. In the current update, you will see improved weapon interaction animations.
Previously, when aiming, the player's camera "moved" to the crosshair. It looked unnatural and would cause problems if the player stood near a corner (of a building).
Now the character brings the weapon to the camera. It looks more natural, eliminates some problems, and also makes it possible to better control the weapon in your hands, adding more dynamics, which gives more realism to the gameplay.

The emergence of new problems due to the new aiming system associated with recoil, accuracy and other points of shooting is not excluded. We will try to promptly correct the errors found.

Update 0.2.8.59: We Are Back

Hello, Friends!


Development of the game was suspended for a long time. There were good reasons for this.
The players were waiting for the continuation of the development of Polygon, in every possible way supported us - the developers.
We are grateful to everyone, it really motivates us to move on!

We have prepared a small update that fixes some old problems.
This is just preparation for further development.

Graphics:


In the new update, the graphical part of the game has been significantly improved.
Improved lighting on all maps. The entire environment now reflects more realistically, and there is now more lighting in the shadows, which will allow you to see many of the details previously hidden in the darkness.

Animations:


A lot of people, including us - the developers, were not satisfied with the animation of the character. The character seemed too slow and awkward due to the animations not working properly.
We decided to fix this and significantly improved all character animations.
Now everything happens more smoothly, which will significantly improve the interaction with weapons, shooting, and, accordingly, the attitude to the game.
Of course, what we have now is not the final version. We are still very far from ideal, but we will strive for this.

Optimization:


(Experimental) We changed the method of rendering graphics to a cheaper one, which will increase the FPS in some cases up to 50%.
Of course, we are aware of many other optimization problems. We will try to fix this as soon as possible. This task is of higher priority.

Game process:


All of the above changes will significantly improve the overall gameplay. But we also made some other changes.

Sprint has become ~40% faster, which will make the game more dynamic.
The character's tilts up / down became much faster.
Tilting the character to the left / right now allows you to better look behind obstacles.

Unfortunately, it was not without problems.
Due to the transition of the game to a new version of the engine, we lost the WWII map. This may be a temporary problem, we will try to fix it shortly, but at the moment it is impossible to play on this map.
