Donation Goals

I will now and then make donation goals for various features. See this as a way to contribute to the developer and the community at the same time.

The following feature will only be developed and patched in if the donation goal is met: $100 USD.

Let me present you the Balanced Opacity Brush. It will gradually make the Alpha go from 100% visible to 0% visible.

You can donate without making an account at Shadowforge's website here: https://www.sfpaint.net/

I will still work on Shadowforge, but donation goals will only be added if the donation goal has been met.

Balanced brush technique released

The balanced brush technique inherits the unbalanced brush technique's code, but is gradually increasing in size in perfect harmony.

New Feature: Unbalanced Brush Technique

If you pick the UB technique, you start drawing at a minimum size to a maximum size. Well, it describes itself pretty good. It's unbalanced. *smile*

New UI graphics, QoL improvements and paint fill update

SF now has a clean graphical UI. Improvements were made to how you interact outside of the Palette and Scale UI when you have pressed on it.

Paint fill is back to what it was, but it makes four grids now instead of one grid. However, painting fast with the paint fill tool on will make you lose some of the grids. I have made the grids represent itself visually while drawing with paint fill mode.

Raycasting with fill tool experiment and nature shader update

When I mean raycasting, I mean a method that locks down different parts to be flooded when they have been flooded. It's very early in development and may be thrown in the bin or developed on further.

Other news, I have removed the pixelation effect from Nature Shader and given it that gothic dark nature look. I recommend Warm Shader for nature things too, since it's very moody.
