Now that rearranging layers are working correctly, I thought that there is no need for the bad onionskin rework that I made. So now the onionskin won't be saved to surface, but they will be visible on the canvas, however they won't be exported to an image. The onionskin will be there for you to see how you want to merge the layers.

The onionskinning could not be saved like I wanted it to, instead it bugged the purpose for onionskinning. The saved images will be used as backup in %localappdata% folder.

Onionskin is also saved on save slots and when you load your slot you can continue working like you did before with onionskin.

It's now working as intended.

You now need to move the layer with right mouse button to copy it to a new layer (with onionskin on).
