Big update of Demo version!
Hello, Bravelanders!
After the Steam festival, we got a lot of feedback from players, and this gave us some ideas on how to improve the game. We weren’t wasting our time and decided not only to rework some old mechanics but add new content too. This is what we will talk about next.

The first ideas that came from our players related to making the Hall more lively. Here we decided to add NPCs: neutral characters who participate in dialogues with our hero. The Head of the Guild in the game hall will make it more alive, and will also give us the opportunity to add various atmospheric dialogues with our heroes in the near future. What other characters would you suggest to put in the hall? We'll be happy to read your ideas in the comments.

The second part of the feedback concerned the leveling of heroes in the hall. In a four-player game, there are not enough resources for all players to improve their stats. Therefore, we reworked the upgrading system to global buffs that affect all squad members. The starting equipment of each hero can also be improved separately, but at later stages. So the balance of costs is shifted towards global upgrades: improving the efficiency of elixirs, sets of random equipment from a blacksmith, the ability to receive tools from a chest, and so on. All this will make our new boss raids more effective, and the way to the main villain will be a little bit easier too.

After studying a lot of Let’s Plays, we also decided to diversify the set of dropped items in the game. Some weapons and gadgets from the main version have been added to the demo.
Let's talk about them a little more:

And, as a bonus, we will show you the art of another inhabitant of the Hall - the Magician. He will take care of you and your knights. Before each new raid, the Magician will prepare random potions and all kinds of magic bonuses for your adventure. You never know what he will prepare next time, but it will definitely help you in a critical situation. This character will appear in the beta version too, which we will start sending out soon. You can sign up for the beta testing right now and we will inform you when it will be available.

Let's talk about them a little more:
- Peasant pitchfork is useful not only for close combat, but also to inflict an insidious blow by ramming at several enemies. But keep in mind that your ability to maneuver at time of ramming is somewhat limited.
- Throwing knives and axes are effective not only at close range, but also allow you to strike at a distance. This can help out in some tactical situations.
- The staff is capable of inflicting damage with the energy of nature. Use it wisely and try not to get too far from Hogwarts.
- Traps add some pretty unusual mechanics. Now you can lure enemies into cleverly placed traps to inflict great damage to them.
- Pistols are excellent weapons, effective at medium range. Hit a group of enemies with the cloud of your buckshot. Yarr!
- And, of course, noticed the flask of flammable liquid. A burning field will cause a lot of trouble to enemies. And that satisfying sound of breaking the glass bottle will bring back pleasant memories of beloved Castlevania games.
