Full Bloom Update

New Content
Full Bloom Content Pass
Spring is blooming and so is this new Content Pass! Complete tasks and collect Spring Blossoms to unlock blueprints, decorations and more! This pass will run from March 19th until April 3rd, so don’t miss it!

While our usual schedule would normally have the next Content Pass feature brand new content, in this case it will be another pass focusing on old content. The reason simply being that the art team is quite busy working on Tier 14! (spoilers)

To make up for it, this event’s grand prize is extra bloomy; an entire crafting slot! If you already own all the crafting slots, you’ll get 500(!) Ascension Shards instead!

Spring-loving shopkeepers who complete every task in the Content Pass will also receive the exclusive Beautiful Flower title!
Promo Code System
Shop Titans now supports Promo Codes! Keep an eye out for special codes on our social media and enter them to redeem prizes!

Major Changes
Quest Skip
There is now an even faster Quest Speed option. When enabled, loot will be granted straight from the city screen, skipping the quest altogether. Great for slower devices!

Minor Changes
 • In the Antique Store, the Wallpaper/Flooring slot now also has a chance to showcase a blueprint.
 • Players who haven’t played in a long time will see a temporary pause to various tutorials and offers while they settle back in. With all the content that’s been added over the years, it could make for an overwhelming return.
 • The Shop Titans game engine has been updated. As with last time, this is a necessary step to keep Shop Titans live and running. The benefits are invisible to players, but this process may break a thing or two. Let us know if you spot anything.
 • Aurasongs now have their Aura skill effect displayed as part of their item details.
 • Added a visual effect to Aurasong skill icons when assigned to Champions.
 • Customers who demand a specific item (generally after not finding anything on racks) will now only ask for items you’ve crafted at least once.
 • Added a few more Dragonmarks to the Free portion of the Dragon Invasion reward track to make it truly equal to previous events. In addition, we’re adding an extra 20 Dragonmarks in the next event to make up for those missing in the previous one.

King Schedule

King Reinhold will be available on April 1st leaving on the 4th. There’s something rocky about those dates though…

Bug Fixes
 • Fixed several cases where item icons would appear more pixelated than usual.
 • Fixed the Spellblade’s skill description still mentioning 30% damage to Elemental Barriers. This was a purely visual issue.
 • Added the missing Somnus Boltcaster blueprint, as well as a few missing customizations, to the Antique Store rotation.
 • Fixed a bug where temporary event titles (e.g Gold King) would not correctly be refreshed if earned twice in a row.
 • Fixed an issue where resting Heroes would be displayed on top of the Hero list.
 • Fixed some animation issues with pets.
 • Fixed some Bjorn animations.
 • Fixed energy from customers playing instruments being awarded instantly. It is now slightly delayed to better match the animation.
 • Fixed the display of 5+ digit quantities when buying items/resources from customers.
 • Fixed a bug where a notification on the market button could remain stuck there.
 • Fixed a bug where “daily login” content pass tasks would not properly increment for players who never logged off in the first place.
 • Fixed a display issue where the Sia’s Touch talent would apply to the component quantity displayed on the quest preparation screen.
 • Content Pass tasks with a single tier now also have access to the detailed view.
 • Fixed an edge case where offers could generate with 0 Antique Tokens.
 • Fixed a rare case where some players could be stuck with an achievement above their head.
 • Fixed a rare issue where city visitors could sometimes sell items illegally enchanted with Mundra’s or Fresh spirit.

Coming Up Next

Tier 14 of course.

We’ll also be updating the Dragon Invasion bonus rewards to not be hidden anymore. We may revisit the layout in the future to put more visual emphasis on the grand prize.

Version 15.3.1 Release Notes

If you were quick to download the latest update, you may have noticed a mild inconvenience… such as your heroes getting completely stripped of their equipment whenever they’d be on quest! Beyond the almost guaranteed party wipe that would result and the hassle of re-equipping your entire roster, there was also the very real danger of accidentally selling off very valuable gear.

Due to the severity of the issue, we opted to disable questing as we worked to resolve the issue. If you’ve seen quests randomly disappear in the past 24 hours, this was the reason.

A new client update is now available to download which fixes the “equipment stripping” problem and re-enables quests. It’s now (finally) safe to quest!

With this mess out of our way, we can now properly focus on compensation for the inconvenience incurred. We’ll have more info on this soon; thank you for your patience!

Update: Details of the compensation package can be found here.

Other Bug Fixes
 • All boss cooldowns have been reset, as boss attempts would be automatically canceled but would still go on cooldown.
 • Fixed The M.A.U.L. blueprint requiring Wallace and his brother Wallace as workers. The second Wallace has been replaced by the Carpenter.
 • Fixed the Wildhunt Skull name being inadvertently changed to “A most devious trickster certainly hides underneath”. It was a bit of a mouthful.

Version 15.3.0 Release Notes

General Changes
Dragon Invasion Rewards
Changes to the Dragon Invasion reward track (last three bonus reward milestones hidden).

When we last extended the Dragon Invasion reward track, there were complaints about how the Grand Prize is shifting away further down the track, making it so that players who could just barely make it, no longer could.

We’ve updated the presentation of the reward track to rectify this. Initially, only prizes up to the Grand Prize of 150 Dragonmarks will be shown. Once a guild reaches this milestone, additional bonus rewards will be revealed, with a final score requirement matching the grand prize of last month’s Dragon Invasion.

TL;DR it looks different, but you’ll get the same rewards for the same amount of points.

Minor Changes
 • Various optimizations to general game performance.

King Schedule

King Reinhold, mighty is he, will be available as a Guest Champion on March 4th until the 7th.

Balance Changes
 • Heroes with the All element (Spellblades/Spellknights) now contribute 50% of their element value towards breaking Elemental Barriers (up from 33%).

Bug Fixes
 • Fixed a rare crash involving the Friendly Favor talent.
 • Fixed the Trickster’s innate ability not enhancing Instruments.
 • Fixed missing sound effect when visiting the Bard's building.
 • Fixed invisible feet for Shopkeepers wearing the Dragon Dancer's Shirt customization.
 • Fixed Dragon health in Dragon Invasion displaying as 0/0 instead of "Defeated".
 • Fixed water in the city not being affected by ambient lighting.
 • Fixed an issue in which multiple clicks would be needed when rushing items that resulted in a multicraft.
 • Fixed an issue where the sale price of a food bonus sale to a Champion would display an incorrect value.
 • Worker visitors now correctly only sell items you’ve crafted at least once.
 • Fixed Rudo’s leader skill not granting a full 50% elemental bonus against elemental barriers.
 • The Platinum Grenadier now correctly requires Jewels rather than Essence.

Version 15.2.1 Release Notes

Bug Fixes
 • Champions now pay the base gold value of items they request rather than double.
 • Fixed a bug where two Content Pass tasks have inadvertently merged into each other. There is now a task (with 4 tiers) to gather Pure Gold, and a task (with 1 tier) to gather Rustwyrm Scales. Progress towards the latter has been lost.
 • The Draconic Grasp task no longer asks for Dragonfang Fists, a blueprint that would be available in an upcoming Superior Pack (spoilers!). It has been replaced by the Tianlong Lance, a blueprint that will be available in a Mega Pack instead (double spoilers!).
 • Reduced the task requirements for the Party Crashers and Lust For Gold tasks down to their intended values.
 • Reduced the amount of crafts needed to upgrade the Platinum Beret.

Year of the Dragon Update

New Content
Year of the Dragon Content Pass
This year marks the Year of the Dragon, and the townsfolk are holding a month-long event; the Dance of Dragons! This period will feature a Content Pass themed around dragons beginning on January 23rd and running through February 19th. It features new exciting and exclusive rewards, such as blueprints, decorations, customizations and a very special new pet!

In addition, the very prestigious Great Dragon title will be awarded to all players who manage to finish the entire Year of the Dragon Content Pass!
Month of Full Moon
A special full moon rises over the Dance of Dragons event! We have extended our usual Full Moon fusion period to be active throughout the duration of the Content Pass, meaning a whole month!

For players who have not hired Mundra, this means the entire library of Full Moon Fusions will be available to you! For Mundra owners, you’ll benefit from 25% faster fusion speed instead! It’s the perfect time to fuse tribute for Mundra!
New Pet
Perhaps our most requested pet yet has finally showed up! There’s no better time than the Year of the Dragon to introduce the Dragon pet! This little wyrm can be acquired through the Year of the Dragon Content Pass!
Lunar New Year Login Event
Login every day from Feb 9th to the 15th to claim gems and other prizes! In addition, a giveaway for an exclusive Dragon Statue will be running during that same period!
Lunar New Year Collection
A collection to celebrate the new year which includes decorations, customizations and more will be available on January 23rd and running through February 19th, same as the Content Pass.
Rack Management
We’ve introduced a new option for every rack allowing better fine-tuning over their content. For each rack, you can now disable some (or all) item types from being stocked there. If you’ve always dreamt of a Shelf exclusively stacked to the brim with scrumptious desserts right beside your counter, that dream is now a possibility!

Major Changes
Antique Store Expansion
The Antique Store just got a little bit bigger! It now supports 6 different slots, rather than 4. Here are the rules for each slot:
Slot 1
Contains a random blueprint of tier 7 or higher. For newer players, Blueprints of Tier 7 will be preferred.
Slot 2
Contains a random blueprint of tier 6 or lower.
Slot 3
Contains a random Decoration or Decoration skin.
Slot 4
Contains a random Shopkeeper Customization, Pet or Pet Appearance.
Slot 5
Contains a random Flooring, Wallpaper or Shop Frame (though none exist for the latter).
Slot 6
Royal Merchant only. Can generate antiques from any of the other slots.

Though as always, remember that content must qualify as an antique before it can show up in the Antique store.
Elemental Barrier Redesign
The Elemental Barrier mechanic has been simplified! On the quest preparation screen for quests featuring this mechanic, a new target value will be displayed. If the party’s total Element value of that element is high enough to match or surpass it, the monster’s Barrier will be disabled and full damage will be dealt during the entire battle.

Failing to match the target value, however, will result in the monster boasting its full Barrier for the entire battle, reducing damage taken by 80%.

This change allows us to better display and explain this mechanic while also toning down some RNG elements (such as your Dark Sorcerer getting abruptly deleted on the first round by an unlucky crit).

Since party members can no longer “chip away” at a monster’s Barrier, these target values have been rebalanced across the board. In general, regular Extreme quests will require one Hero of the correct element (assuming proper enchantments). Tougher quests (such as Void, or some Flash Quests) may require support from Element Affinities to reach the required thresholds.
Champion Requests
Champions now also provide full gold value for the items they are requesting, in addition to the Champion Coins. This is an experimental feature.

Obviously from a player perspective, more gold = more better, but given this mechanic’s tight relationship with the market, we’ll be monitoring its impact on the economy before deciding if it will remain or not.

King Schedule

King Reinhold will be available as a Guest Champion on February 5th until the 8th.

Balance Changes
 • Following the Elemental Barrier changes, Rudo’s leader skill now increases the Elemental Score of his party with no round limit.

Misc. Changes

Various optimizations were performed, particularly involving low-end devices. This is an attempt at solving the increasing amount of crash reports we’ve been receiving lately. More optimizations are expected in the near future.

Bug Fixes
 • Fixed Champion “rank up stats” disappearing after promoting your Champion with a Champion Titan Soul. This is a visual issue only.
 • Fixed skills on the skill reroll screen not displaying as their proper rank (e.g. Extra Conditioning instead of Herculean Effort).
 • Fixed an incredibly rare instance where an inactive guildmaster would not be replaced.
 • Fixed some issues concerning the post-event gem rush option for rewards. Also better clarified.
 • Fixed a rare instance where a bounty could initially appear as blank on the Bounty Board after a Bounty Board reset.
 • Fixed an issue where customers would not be Familiar or Aurasong friendly at the intended rate.
 • Fixed an issue where switching equipment would remove the applied vanity gear preference on heroes.
 • Fixed an issue where the alternative reward for a Content Pass premium reward tier would display instead of the correct reward.
 • Fixed an issue where Pet Skins did not properly display in the Content Pass “Next Reward” tracker.
 • Returned the stat values of rings and shields back to their original values. This is an extension of previous fixes related to their gold value.
